Mondays STILL Suck
Yeah, I know – I sound like a broken record every Monday morning – but Mondays really do suck ass. Not only did I eat like a hog and not go to the gym this weekend, but Penn State lost AND friggin’ Boston won the World Series!!! It’s enough to make me want to crawl in a hole and not come out until tomorrow…
Oh, and did I mention that former Daddy of the Day Alex Rodriguez won't be playing for the Yankees next season? Ugh!!!!

Movie Night
Since my roommate is out of town and I have the apartment all to myself, I decided to have “movie night” last night. I rented two DVDs – Transformers, and Fantastic 4 – Rise of the Silver Surfer. I guess I was in the mood for “action”.
Since I NEVER actually GO to the movies (the Best Friend won’t go with me – he tends to fall asleep in dark places…) I usually rely on Blockbuster for my motion picture entertainment. I tend to enjoy action movies (especially with ones starring The Rock or Vin Diesel). Although Transformers didn’t have a lot of Rock-like beefcake, star Shia Labeouf (below) was a pleasant surprise. He was funny, cute, and believable as the nerdy kid who ends up in the middle of an epic battle of machine monsters. Shia kind of reminds me of a younger, cuter, John Cusak. His name, however, sounds like a French entreé.

Recent Daddy of the Day, Amaury Nolasco (below, right) makes an appearance, as well as hottie Josh Duhamel (below, left).
I would definitely recommend “Transformers” if you’re in the mood for a good action movie.
I never got to Fantastic 4 (I fell asleep) – so movie night continues tonight......My life is SO exciting.
