Hello, Dust Bunny Nation: Kayce here, by David's request...
David called me this afternoon from the Emergency Room.
Don't panic, he didn't have to go via ambulance or anything, but his
breathing problem has gotten worse. He told me that his doctor never did a chest x-ray, despite him asking for it more than once, and David has gotten more concerned as the days have gone by. Although his doc was so sure that his chest was clear, because of his constant trouble breathing, David is pretty sure that he has pneumonia. I guess the E.R. docs agree, because they are keeping him for "a day or two."
He asked me to post this short update letting The Nation know that he's OK, but that posting will be light for the next couple of days as he's in the hospital getting better. Luckily, his new roommate has agreed to take care of Oscar and Dusty (David's main concerns, of course, LOL). As you can imagine, David didn't go to the E.R. expecting to stay, so although he has his cell, he doesn't know when he's going to get his charger. He wants to conserve his battery as much as possible, but I'm sure he'd like to hear from some of you nonetheless. ;)
If he needs me to, I will post more updates; otherwise, expect the next post you see to be from David.
UPDATE: [insert Superwoman theme song here] Mama Bunny to the rescue! David wanted me to let everyone know that the amazing Mama Bunny is hopping (ha) onto a train tomorrow to go to NYC and take care of him.
