Andres Gutierrez is yet another hottie from Red Models New York (see their blog HERE). Yes, that is a scar on his gorgeous abdomen. And no, I couldn't find out how he got it. Anyone know?
will ferrell (*NOT* a good candidate for daddy of the day, except on april fool's LOL) has one in the same place and it's from abdominal surgery on his gall bladder as a baby...
anyway, i LIKE the scar on andres... it kinda reminds me of joaquin's scar on his lip; somehow it just works and is very sexy!
Right Upper Quadrant scars are frequently from, as chef mentioned, Gallbladder Surgery, or removal of some benign tumor from the liver. Additionally, he may have had a large intestine resection related to Crohn's or Colitis. The only thing I would question with the scar is how it healed - look at the uneven edges. Usually surgical scars are very clean and you can often see scars edges that are shaped like stitches. With the uneven edges I would even guess that this scar was the result of a stabbing. Perhaps he has a past that is less then illustrious?
The other thing I meant to mention was that with a gallbladder or liver-related surgery, the scar would probably be up higher on his abdomen; closer to the ribcage.
His scar is quite likely from having had pyloric stenosis fixed when he was a baby, which is what Will Ferrell's scar is in fact from. Many ps surgery scars look like this in adulthood, every detail grows with you. Most of the other suggestions are also possible, though gall bladders used to be taken out just under the ribs and now usually by keyhole surgery.
