Thank you for honoring our veterans. Hard to believe these guys will be old men one day. (I hope they live to be 100!) My father-in-law (a Marine) was one of the first troops sent to Pearl Harbor after the attack. Even 60 years later, he had tears in his eyes when he told me what he saw there. That meant a lot more than any history book I ever read.
I visited Pearl Harbor 2 years ago, and it was incredibly moving . . . oil is still leaking out of the USS Arizona--oil that was in the ship 67 years ago today.
As the National Park Service's website notes, The USS Arizona serves as the final resting place for many of the battleship's 1,177 crew members who lost their lives on December 7, 1941. I was humbled to visit the site, and disturbed and dismayed that some of my fellow visitors did not recognize and respect the sanctity of the site.
All Americans honor our WWII veterans today.

P.S. HOT pics, David! Wish I could salute those guys personally.
