I never go out for New Year's Eve anymore - it's way too expensive, crowded, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to find a cab. Years ago I would always go to a huge club and get blotto, but tonight I'll probably just catch up on some blog reading.
What will YOU be doing tonight?
What will YOU be doing tonight?
I'm not going out either. I don't drink and it too freakin' cold to be running around at midnight. I'm going to get take out for dinner, then watch some movies while eating some light popcorn and WW candy.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year everyone!
Enjoying time with friends (drinking, hot tub, fire pit...could be dangerous:) at the Shabby Chic Lodge on Cedar Creek Lake in....Tool, Texas!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you David.
ReplyDeleteNew Year's Eve is for amateurs, amateurs under 30.
Now I like nothing more than a quiet night at home with Carlos.
Then we have a celebration on New Years Day, while everyone's nursing as hangover.
Makes better sense to me.
Happy New Year!!

ReplyDeleteI'm going to watch Kathy Griffin and Anderson "Come to Daddy" Cooper for awhile and then go to a party for an hour.
ReplyDeleteAs an fyi...be sure you're standing up at midnight. The Greeks say that is bad luck if you're not standing up when the New Year rolls in.
Gonna party in Helsinki :) Happy New Year D XOXO
ReplyDeleteThe Engineer's birthday is today so we make his favorite dinner, decorate the table and make a fuss over him.
ReplyDeleteThe neighborhood tribe goes hither and yon, then usually settles at one house to watch movies.
Cuddling with the hubs. My favorite way to ring in the new year.
ReplyDeleteI don't go out either. Hubs says "there are too many drunks out there". Stick in the mudd.

Will be spending a quiet evening at home. I haven't gone out on NYE in forever.

PS: To all the Bunnies watching videos tonight - "Slingbacks & Syrup" would be a great one for such an occasion!
The boyfriend and I are staying in as well. Since today is our last days of junk food and sugar, we're having pizza and drinking wine. At midnight we will jump in the shower and wash off 2008.
