Tuesday is Election Day - with some very important Equality & Fairness referendums on various ballots. Most of these races are extremely tight - so it is very important you get out and vote. Some reminders:

If you live in Washington state, VOTE YES ON REFERENDUM 71 - Preserve the Domestic Partnership Law. More information HERE.

If you live in Kalamazoo, Michigan - VOTE YES ON ORDINANCE 1856 - YES for Fairness & Equality. More info HERE.

There are a lot of other important races out there, and during an off-year election it's all about turnout. So don't forget to vote.

  1. We, here in WA, we are on all mail in ballot. Latest news - only 16% of ballots have been mailed in so we may not know the results right away if folks are waiting until election day to mail them. Polls say that ref 71 is nicely ahead and it looks good :-)) All Ponders have voted and voted yes.

  2. On Houston, we have a lesbian frontrunner for Mayor, and another lesbian and a extremely adorable young hispanic man running for different city council seats. You bet your sweet bippy I'll be voting!

  3. I was the first to vote in my town, which I learned today really WAS known as Bog Hoot in the 1700s. I have two gay neighbors now in the house next door and we campaigned where we could.
