The Sing-Off - which is a cross between Glee and American Idol - premiered last night and will be a four-night "special", as opposed to a season-long series. Even though most of the people last night on Twitter didn't agree, I thought it was cute.
It is a competition show featuring A Cappella vocal groups performing with no backing instruments. And the first group to perform last night was "Nota", a group of cute Papis who met in college in Puerto Rico.
A "SEXTET", to be exact! And OMG ... I fell totally in love with the chubby lead sing with the smooth voice and adorable smile...
Here is a short snippet from one of their performances. Notice my future husband singing lead...
Needless to say ... I'm rooting for the cuties from Puerto Rico to win.
I thought it was cute as well and (hating to admit this) I have always liked Nick Lachey (I know I know).
ReplyDeleteI LOVED this show of course! It was really uplifting. All of the groups are good and I completely agreed with the judging. Can't wait for tonight.
ReplyDeleteI am too
ReplyDeleteJust like AI, I really enjoyed the singing, but the judges just drag the show down.
ReplyDeleteNicole is TOTALLY the Paula Abdul of The Sing Off. She loves every thing and every one, and most of the time she makes absolutely no sense. That guy from Boys II Men isn't much better.
The judges simply talk too damn much! But I've been watching and knew you'd love those Papis from Nota. :-)
