These were the New York State Senate Democrats who voted AGAINST marriage equality yesterday, and their email addresses...
Aubertine (Upstate) - aubertin@senate.state.ny.us
Stachowski (Upstate) - stachows@senate.state.ny.us
Addabbo (Queens) - addabbo@senate.state.ny.us
Onorato (Queens) - onorato@senate.state.ny.us
Diaz (Bronx) - diaz@senate.state.ny.us
Kruger (Kings) - kruger@senate.state.ny.us
Huntley (Queens) - shuntley@senate.state.ny.us
Monserrate (Queens) - monserra@senate.state.ny.us - pictured above
I have sent each and every one of these evildoers an email stating that I will do EVERYTHING I CAN to help defeat them in the next election. And I encourage you to do the same - even if you don't live in New York.
FYI: Kruger, Huntley, and Monserrate are in about the safest districts possible - so they can't say they were worried about reelection. The last time around Kruger won with 93% of the vote - Huntley and Monserrate won 100% of the vote.
FYI #2: Monserrate was charged last year with beating and slashing his girlfriend, although she changed her story and the most serious charges were dropped (he was eventually convicted of misdemeanor assault). A REAL stand-up guy... especially since he had previously stated his support of marriage equality.

Ignorant boneheads all, I agree. On the other side of the vote I don't know if you've seen the video of Senator Diane Savino speaking on the subject:

She's really amazing. I've not had a chance to view other video yet but she really touches both the mind and heart. Too bad the Democrats you listed didn't listen.
I'll send an email today! Thanks for the addresses.
ReplyDeleteJust letting them all know what they have done is unacceptable and that they are being watched is important.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely inexusable. The longer this fight for basic rights is dragged out, the more revolted I am by the politics. In this day and age, it should not be an issue!
ReplyDeleteI think its important for elected officials to hear from "the people", especially when Dems vote against their own party's interests.
ReplyDeleteHow can Out-Of-State people help with this?
