Street Life by Randy Crawford always reminds me of the New York City I moved to in the early 90's - a little bit gritty, possibly dangerous, and infinitely more interesting than the Disneyfied shopping mall it has become.
I play the street life
Because there's no place I can go
Street life
It's the only life I know
Street life
And there's a thousand cards to play
Street life
Until you play your life away
love it. I have the long version and it's a great kick when I'm on the treadmill
