He Can Take It ... But I Can't

Ever since Tattoo Parlors (do they still call them that??) were legalized in NYC a few years ago, many have opened up near my job (in the Village). The thing that freaks me out is that many of them do their tattooing RIGHT IN THE FRONT WINDOW for all to see!

Considering that I can't even look at fake needles on TV hospital shows, watching people get tattooed LIVE makes me cringe. This is especially upsetting because I have to pass by at least 3 of these establishments on my way to McDonalds for a lunchtime McRibBut not even public displays of tattooing will prevent me from those delicious processed-pork-product-patty sammiches.

  1. Being the proud owner of six tattoos myself, I love at tattoing being done. I love the artistry of it.

  2. My two Emergency Back Up Daughters have tattoos but none of the born Ponder children have them. Told Eldest he should get his chest and back surgical scars (about 15) linked up as some kind of artwork but I think he has had enough of people sticking him with sharp instruments.

  3. I have said it before and I will say it again- I have no Earthly idea why anyone thinks tattoos are attractive.I just don't get it! I'm not judging- I've seen so beautiful people with tattoos, but none because of the tattoo! Not once has Miss Ginger ever throught: "Dayum! Good thing he has that tattoo, otherwise he would just NOT be cute!!"
And don't even get me started on that whole "huge earrlobe" thing!

  5. I got 7 tattoos and more on the way. I think if you get tats that have meaning and are artful (I ain't talking a tat of tigger here)then they are beautiful.
