On Hold

Do you ever get the feeling that someone has pushed the "Hold" button on your life - making sure you never move forward, but also never backwards?  That is the way I've been feeling lately.

Actually, "On Hold" wouldn't be so bad - but it feels like the Hold button will soon be turned off, sending me hurling into the not-so-comforting unknown.  The future isn't looking so bright right now in so many ways - and that really sucks.

Waking up in the morning is so much easier when you have something to look forward to.  And right now the best I can hope for is to stay On Hold for as long as possible.

And NO - I'm not talking about anything directly health-related (don't have a heart attack Mom) - I'm just talking about life in general.  Or LACK of a life, in general...

  2. Sweetie:
you know I love you dearly, and it worries me that you are in such a rut!
Have you considered a career change, or at least a change of employer? Personally, I don't think the economy iis going to change much any time soon. It might help to be proactive...

    Love you. Love your hair!

    Keep taking your pills!!!

  3. HUGZ. I can totally relate!

I've been in a rut big time. But I'm excited about a move to Baltimore. I've been commuting up there for 4 months, so it's time to move.

  4. As usual, Miss Ginger is a fount of wisdom.

It sounds so cliche, but I am praying for you. Sometimes, when we have the most dread in our hearts, that's when life gives us the most wonderful gifts.

Take care of yourself. You are such a special person.

  6. Life can be like a rollercoaster, sometimes going up, sometimes going down, wicked corners and stomach lifting bumps. If you focus on the ride, it can be a scream :o)

Anyho, A few years back I went through this same type of funk.
What did Tug do? Not really anything. I just accepted my life as it was and would deal without anything that may come.

Now release that fucking hold button.
    XOXOXO

  13. every day life throws challenges we don't know if we can deal with or not. but each day passes and we are ok. we learn from our struggles. we may wish things turn out differently, we spend time thinking what if they did? but at the end of the day what we have is the day we lived through. That is what makes us stronger, more capable, and more experienced.

    sending heartfelt love from Boston!
