Julia Sugarbaker Is Decorating In Heaven Now

Actress Dixie Carter - best known for playing Julia Sugarbaker on Designing Women - has died at the age of 70.  As of right now there are no other details.  This is so sad.

In tribute, I present to you Julia's most famous rant - "The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia"...

No one did a rant quite as eloquently as Dixie Carter. She was beautiful, intelligent and fierce. RIP, Dixie. You will be missed.

She was in rare form in FILTHY RICH series in the 80s - being a Southerner myself her passing stretches my heart strings almost to the breaking point .

What a TRUE STEEL MAGNOLIA of a lady
