Like I said yesterday, I won't be recapping Project Runway this week (and maybe not the rest of the season), but feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments.
The only thing I would like to say is that I officially dislike Emilio ... immensely. There is a fine line between being confident and being cocky. Last night Emilio crossed that line, stomped on that line while calling it nasty names, and then flipped that line the bird.
Nothing worse than a person with personality issues who also nails the challenge. Emilio's was the best entry out there, hands down. Glad Seth Aaron made it even though that entry was beyond crazy. So was Mila's. Poor Anthony - we loves you! But what was he thinking?! So the question is - who will win the third slot? We even have their collections (thanks to the never ending parade of decoys) to view.
ReplyDeleteJay had to best line when he says, "8 topless guys and all I could do is stare at every single one of them because they had such amazing bodies." giggle/blush
ReplyDeleteI started out Team Emilio, but, yikes, his ego is far too large for me. I'd like to seem him go down in a burst of hot pink chiffon.
ReplyDeleteJay, Jay, all the way. Don't know if he can win but I so want him to beat stank-ass Mila. Methinks she's a bit of a fag-hater . . . or maybe (maybe?) they're just playing up the drama.
ReplyDelete(What Sean said, too - I was right there with Jay when they were at the circus. Clowns, what clowns?)
Of course, I didn't get to see the damn episdode, but I did catch Emilio's dress over at TLo. He's a nasty little bitch, but that was a fantastic dress.
ReplyDeleteEmilio - good grief! What an attitude! I didn't like any of the designs last night but disliked his the least. Parts of it were great, though.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss Anthony but what can we say? I hope Jay or Seth Aaron win based on their personalities. Hope their designs are the best. But Emilio will probably get it. How much bigger can his ego get? I don't want to find out.
Emilio's dress was AWESOME, but yeah, he's way too full of himself.
ReplyDeleteI was ok with Jay and Anthony being the ones cut, they were inconsistent over the season.
I hate Mila's aesthetic, but the judges love it, so I wasn't surprised.
AGREEEEED! up until last night's episode, i really liked emilio, but i guess the producer's decided to show us what she's really like. a mess, that's what. i was hoping they were setting her up to fail and they were letting us know the bitch was getting broken up w/ that night. oh well.
ReplyDeletebased on the final four, i'm interested in what drama will go down during the run up to bryant park. during fashion week, gawker was at the tents for the PR show (TEN DESIGNERS), and they hypothesized that emilio was one of the six that didn't make the final four b/c he was on the verge of tears during his intro. they quoted him as saying something like "today is not the happy day that i hoped for" ~ could mean that there was drama w/ his family? they also said that The Diva's collection was really really good, so i guess he wasn't lying when he said he just needed to get into his space.
anyway, i'm sad that maya AND jay are still there, but i think that ultimately, they'll put on a good show. we'll see. lastly, i hate how the judges say "why do you deserve to go and which 2 designers should accompany you?" when they KNOW they're going to take all four. weirdos.
*i meant mila. i still get them confused.
