Eerie is right. They couldn't have chosen better background music.
I agree that it's the music that makes it eerie. On one hand, however, I can see how Six Flags would abandon the project due to the prohibitive costs. On the other hand, I don't understand why they didn't do a better job of clearing off the land and selling the scrap to regain some of their loss. I remember the hoopla about Goliath being opened at the Six Flags Over Texas; I did not realize it was NO's Batman.
Sad situation all around.
