Yes DustBunnies - that headline is FOREALZ. One of my roommates is moving out at the end of this month, so my remaining roomie and I are looking for someone to come live in our happy (?) home. And before we resorted to Craigslist riff-raff, I wanted to reach out to the BunnyNation.
Here's the deal:
- Small, unfurnished room (maybe 20x20) in Astoria, Queens. Rent is extremely reasonable (some might even call it cheap).
- 3 blocks to the M/R trains. 4 blocks to the N/Q. Depending upon which train you take, the neighborhood is only 3 or 4 subway stops from Manhattan.
- Share living room, dining room, balcony, kitchen and FIERCE BATHROOM with me, my female roommate, and two adorable kitties.
- You would be responsible for 1/3 of the utilities: Cable (which we are changing so I can get LOGO, dammit), Electric and Internet.
- Must be employed, relatively tidy, courteous and non-insane.
- Move in on June 1st.
So that's it - if you or someone you know is looking for a place to live, please email me ASAP:

My roommate already has some people scheduled to look at the joint, so don't delay!

Honey I hates to be picky, but the sanity clause may narrow down your application list a bit...just sayin :)
ReplyDeleteDearest DustBunny Craig -
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm thinking that could be a problem.

Honey, a 20 x20 room for the mistress wouldn't even hold her drag hair, jewels and clothing- and won't anywhere near store her GIN stash!!!!!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteI would except the commute would be a bitch.
ReplyDeleteBehr Hugs and good luck!
I hope you find someone who will fit right in and be fun and compatible!

I hope you get somebody very tidy to move in - who likes to wash dishes after cooking for 8 guests. :)
