i'm so happy to see someone taking the lead on this... there have been inroads on an individual level, but i can see this spreading to college campuses AND national sports ~ something more organized will hopefully combat the uber-macho BS that usually goes hand-in-hand with sports.
What a remarkable and decent young man. I applaud him!
I was just talking with my sister about something similar yesterday. A remark was made by a relative about homosexuality being a sin, and she and two other relatives spoke up and said that we must show tolerance, and that they think there is likely a genetic component to homosexuality.
I said it's exactly that sort of thing--the willingness to speak up and speak out against homophobia--that will start changing attitudes. Just like it was with racism. If you stand idly by while others are tossing around racial epithets, that behavior will continue. If you stand up for your convictions and say, "Wait a minute. That's not right," people will start to understand that such statements and attitudes are unacceptable and wrong.
We all have to work together to end such bigotry!
So wonderful. It is through the work of wonderful men like Hudson Taylor and Ben Cohen, both who have the power to make such great strides forward. They deserve much praise.
He's a good role model and ally
We could use a few more like Hudson...
As time goes on I think we'll see it!
Hot, smart, LGBT-friendly.
What's not to love?
I've been a huge fan for a while now.
XOXOXOX
It restores my faith in the generations coming after me. It will take kids like Hudson to change perceptions of others that promote hatred.
this is AWESOME! i want him to come speak at my school!

What's great about this is it's obvious that he's doing it because it's the RIGHT thing to do; he's not looking for kudos or pats on the back. Straight allies rock!
What an outstanding ambassador for treating others with dignity and humanity! Thanks for posting this and introducing me to him through your blog. I'm so glad he's doing this.
Well he sounds like a great role model and I appauled him for his great efforts, but what are these sports things?
