The Fashion NO - Damned Dirty Size-Ists!

I’ll admit – I watched The Fashion NO last night. What a friggin’ horror show. It’s like watching all the kids you hated in High School – and you can’t decide which one you want to die first.

The entire show is simply a competition between Reco and Daniella - the only ones with any talent. Of the two, I MUCH prefer Reco, especially for this statement regarding Keith’s unfortunate outfit:

“I love ya to deff, but I’ll holla atcha at da reunion show”. Classic.

Reco was right – Keith went home for not being able to give curves to the skinniest bitch there. But honestly, at least five of those dumbasses could have been sent home. I just look at that dreck that walks down that runway and think that Tim Gunn must be drinking Chardonnay and laughing hysterically in front of his TV every Thursday night. These Fashion NO Ho's just can’t MAKE IT WORK!

Making me gag the hardest last night was how horribly STANK these bitches were toward “Real Women”. Good Lord, James-Paul was obviously “Schkeeving” (using a Real Housewives from NJ term) the thought of actually having to touch a woman larger than a size 2. Seriously, someone should have flashed him the Vajayjay, and his asymmetrical head would have exploded. Another competitor bites the dust!

I LOVED it when Isaac called Daniella “Size-ist” – totally true. She was bitching and moaning like she was dressing Jennifer Holliday in Dreamgirls. Calm down Stankella!!

And then there’s Mexican Jay (AKA Johnny) … “I’ve never dressed a real woman before”. Who have you dressed? Trannies?? Giraffes?? WTF?!?

Dear Bravo: I'd like to have that hour of my life back, please. I'll holla atcha a da Reunion Show...

I was very lucky to only see the last 10 minutes of the show. Reco and Daniella are the only two that can sew. The Fashion Show is a diaster and the contestants are tragic.

I missed it.
I watched my boyfriend Mark Feurrstein in Royal Pains.
A nice Jewish boy playing a doctor?
I'm in......love.

I got sucked in again too. Why does this keep happening. haha. I keep wanting it to get better.

The actual format of the show I enjoy. I like the twist of having a fashion show with an audience. And having the audience have input. But the designers are the weak link.

If there is a season two, I hope the producers are able to draw a better group of talent!

I was sorry to have watched the whole thing. It sucks. I don't like any of them at this point. Isaac seems to be rather hateful. Gross.

I think a major problem with this show is that this cast of designers includes no one I want to root for. Couple with Kelly Rowland's insipidness, and I just want to push the whole thing off a cliff.

Leaving aside the 'size-ist' comments and nobody but Reco knowing how to sew, MY favorite parts were

1) Merlin's attitude about Daniella winning the mini-challenge. He knew his days might be numbered, but he acted like: "Bring it, bitch!" Not too crazy about Merlin's actual garment, however.

2) Mr. Stealth-fighter going on about his 'authentic pleating' studies. For reals? Because for someone who runs away from normal, you sure sound like any other 20 something I know who touts their individuality and 'authenticity' while being the most boring piece of you-know-what in their actual life. JP, you're so full of it....

Daughter and I commented that we have yet to find someone to root for. Maybe Angel but she is so quiet.
Where are the Kaynes, the Roberts, the Lauras, the Chris Marchs?!

Just like you, I gave up on The Fashion No, and just like you, I watched it last night! It was a horrible night for TV - there was NOTHING on. So funny that we both defaulted to that trainwreck on Bravo. And you are SOOO right about Tim Gunn laughing over his Chardonnay at those fools.

I'm almost sorry i didn't watch from this hilarous recap. I'm with Bob. watching the nice Jewish boy. Kinda liked his brother ( in the show) in his bathing suit...not baaaaaaddddd. in fact not quite bad enough.

The show is almost good- I mean, I like the "real" aspect of the audience voting whether they would by it. And the Harper's Bizarre mini challenges are interesting. But instead of Mizrahi's bashing and whining, and NotBeyonce's 20 minute windup for a poorly timed punchline, they should try to find hosts that will actually mentor the designers and showcase their work. Maybe Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum. Oh, wait, that's not gonna work. How about RuPaul. Oh, that won't work, either. Regis and Kelly? Geez, now I'm making myself sick. Just cancel the damn thing- don't even show the finale. No one's watching it anyway!
