Superbowl Thoughts...

Adorable! Congratulations to Drew Brees (above - with son Baylen), the Saints, and the great city of New Orleans on their Superbowl win.

OK - I'm gonna go out on a limb right now and say something controversial ... I actually LIKED The Who's halftime show.  But then again I am really old and really white - so what did you expect?

Did you watch the game?  What did you think?  Did you hate The Who like everyone else (besides me)?

It was a good game, and the Saints deserved the win.

I liked the Who halftime, but I did say to Beth that the show is behind the times. I am surprised they do not have something more hip. Perhaps the NFL fans are old foggies like us.

The Who - well, I find it quite thrilling that the half time band predates my interest in music. In fact I was but a small child when they formed. Always good when the game lives up to its expectations. The ads though - some were great but many were 'meh'.

I actually had the game on and watched it off and on. I'm thrilled the Saints won and am so happy for New Orleans.

Sorry, but I didn't like The Who's half-time show. I've always liked them and was disappointed because I expected to like their show.

Yeah, I was disappointed in the commercials this year. Even the E-Trade ads weren't as good as usual. It will hard for them to top "shankopatomus" though.

At least there were no "wardrobe malfunctions"! I didn't watch the game but kept up with the score through the end! Man, I'll bet there are some wicked hangovers in NOLA this morning!

I was disappointed that my Colts lost, but happy for New Orleans. I know it meant a lot to so many people.

I thought the Who was okay. Not one of my favorite half-time shows (I still think Prince was great, and I loved the Stones, too), but it was pretty good. XOXO

Honey they were so bad I blogged about it right as it went down. What is up with the NFL hiring the bands that are over the hill. Look in their day they were the shit, but so was my body. Give it up. Let your records be your legacy. I noticed you forgot to mention Queen Latifah death by live performance.
I'm with Beth, Prince brought it.
Did you catch the Betty White snickers commercial? A Hoot
