Project Runway Recaps - "Just Do It"

Our good friends at Blogging Project Runway reminded us today that Project Runway Season 9 will debut in exactly 3 weeks.

Which makes it exactly four weeks ago that I did a post regarding my Project Runway dilemma: Should I recap this (now) dog of a show, or should I stick to my vow never to help promote Project Runway as long as it remained on Lifetime?

I was overwhelmed by the response. Most of you left incredibly sweet and thoughtful comments about how much you appreciate my recaps and asked me, politely, to do it again this season.

But not Miss Ginger Grant. Miss Ginger, being "family" and all, doesn't have time to coddle her sister - she is a busy Drag Queen. So Miss Ginger decided to give me some advice and make her point known in three simple words:

"JUST DO IT"

The Queen hath spoken, therefore I shall be recapping. With some conditions, of course.

I will be treating Project Runway like any other trainwreck reality show I've recapped - NOT GENTLY. The goodwill earned during those fantastic early seasons has all been spent by Bunim-Murray - the producers who took over the show when it left Bravo. If it walks like a trainwreck, quacks like a trainwreck, and farts like a trainwreck, then the show is a trainwreck. And I'm not going to pretend otherwise. Project Runway is the new Tool Academy - without the hunky mens in schoolboy uniforms (Related topic: Project Runway needs more hunky mens in schoolboy uniforms).

But, in all honesty, recapping trainwrecks is kind of fun - so I'm doing it. Just like Miss Ginger (and most of the rest of you) commanded.
