AbFab Will Return, Sweetie
By now many of you have heard that Absolutely Fabulous - one of the most, well, fabulous TV shows in the history of the world, will film three new episodes this summer. And since this news is a little old and has already been reported in most media outlets (Harper's, Tatler, English Vogue, American Vogue, French Vogue, bloody Aby-bloody-ssinian bloody Vogue, darling), I wasn't going to mention it.
But then Tom & Lorenzo went and posted an absolutely fabulous AbFab highlights video which needed to be shared with the BunnyNation - so here it is. I'm chanting as we speak ...

Joanna Lumley has revealed she will be reunited with Jennifer Saunders, 52, in a revival of the hit television sitcom. The actress said she was in talks with Miss Saunders – who created the show – to bring back the champagne-guzzling, foul-mouthed, chain-smoking fashionistas for a comeback. And even though the characters Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone would by now probably be pensioners, Miss Lumley said: ‘Jen wrote to me and said, “Let’s talk through it. What do you think?” And I said, “Bring it on.”
I can't tell you how excited this makes me - but I'll believe it when I see it. AbFab fans have been let down before.

Jennifer Saunders - who played the messy yet fabulous Edina Monsoon on Absolutely Fabulous - turns 52 today. So put on your best Lacroix, raise a glass of Stoli (or Bolly, or both) and wish Sweetie Darling a very happy birthday.

Don't F*ck Up AbFab!
Fox has begun filming the American pilot of Absolutely Fabulous - and gay men everywhere are concerned. Will they destroy one of the most ... well ... FABULOUS television shows that ever existed?
The picture above is of Kristen Johnston (left) who will recreate the Patsy role, and Kathryn Hahn (???) who will play Edina. Kristen gave an interview last month that has people worried about a watered-down version of our two favorite insecure, coked-up, shopaholic drunks...

More PC?!? They don't smoke?!? Nicorette?!?!! Lord, I guess cocaine and orgies are out of the question. Thank goodness Jennifer Saunders (the original Eddie, and Executive Producer of the original series) is in charge of this remake. I want this shit to be THIN AND GORGEOUS!!!!
