Happy Hump Day From Kid Christmas!

I think it's very appropriate that Dust Bunny Eric Arvin released his latest work - Kid Christmas Rides Again - on a "Hump Day"...

This novella includes the original short story (the fantastic Kid Christmas Meet Snow Globes) plus 10,000 words of new Kid Christmas adventures. And, as always, it is fabulously illustrated by Absolutbleu. Go to Dreamspinner Press and order yours today.

Book Review - Subsurdity by Eric Arvin

I just finished reading Eric Arvin's excellent book - Subsurdity - and what a fun read it was! Subsurdity follows the lives of the residents of Jasper Lane - a neighborhood where gay and straight alike bond at gay porn parties, the straight kids don't mind go-go dancing and antiquing, and an old woman simply known as "Nanna" expels judgement and bigotry as easily (and as often) as she passes gas.

Subsurdity has it all - mystery, romance, social commentary, and generous amounts of comedy. In fact, I haven't laughed-out-loud this much while reading a book since my last David Sedaris adventure. The various subplots and characters are intertwined expertly - allowing us to effortlessly follow the various storylines without confusing them. And at the end of the book, the story is tied together by Mr. Arvin into a fierce little bow.

Personally, I loved the Cassie Bloom character - the grand dame and "Auntie Mame" of Jasper Lane (complete with a sidekick named "Vera" and a protege named "Patrick"). And smelly Nanna cracked me up every time she appeared on the pages on Subsurdity. But all the characters truly come to life beautifully in Eric Arvin's well-written novel.

LOGO - the gay cable network - should buy the rights to Subsurdity and turn it into a weekly series. I'm sure it would end up being the "next big thing"...

To order Subsurdity from Dreamspinner Press, please go HERE.

Next up is Eric Arvin's second Jasper Lane novel - Suburbilicious. I can't wait...

Blockbuster FAIL

From the hysterical site My Life Is Average:

Last night while working at Blockbuster I asked someone if they wanted any coke or popcorn, but it came out as poke or cockporn. We finished the transaction in silence. MLIA.

Thanks to Dust Bunny Eric Arvin for letting me know about MLIA.

Jingle Balls, Jingle Balls ... Jingle All The Way!

Wow. I read Eric Arvin’s Kid Christmas Meets Snow Globes last night, and it was fantastic. I laughed, I cried (not really), and even got a little tingly while reading this story about Santa Claus’ replacement – hunky power-bottom Kid Christmas.

Kid Christmas Meets Snow Globes is a quick and fun read which – despite the Holiday setting – manages to be extremely erotic. If you would have told me that a story involving Santa and the North Pole could be arousing, I wouldn’t have believed you. But Arvin updates the traditional Santa tale with a big dose of the SEXAY (as well as a good amount of humor) - and his prose is perfectly paired with Absolutbleu's provocative illustrations. It is extremely well done on every level.

Do yourself a favor and order Kid Christmas Meets Snow Globes by Eric Arvin through the Dreamspinner Press website HERE. It is the perfect gift for that horny little elf on your Christmas List.

Christmas Comes Early

I just received writer Eric Arvin's latest work in the mail - Kid Christmas Meets Snow Globes. I am so excited to read this hot little piece of gay erotic fiction (complete with sexy illustrations by Absolutbleu NSFW) - which I plan on doing tonight. Eric (below) is a talented writer (and a Dust Bunny in good standing), so I'm sure Kid Christmas will be a fun read.

If you would like to order Kid Christmas Meets Snow Globes, please go to the Dreamspinner Press website HERE. It is available as a printed color booklet or you can download the ebook - and it won't break the bank.

Tomorrow I'll let you know what I think...
