The Breakfast Club Turns 25 Years Old

One of my favorite movies from my teen years - The Breakfast Club - celebrated its 25th anniversary this week at an event in NYC. In attendance were Anthony Michael Hall, Molly Ringwald (my sister-in-my-head), Ally Sheedy and Judd Nelson. Emilio Estevez did not attend.

CONCLUSION? ... I am ancient.

... but apparently Ralph Macchio, 48, is just a little too clean-cut for today's Hollywood.  So he's changing his image and plotting a comeback - look for a cameo by my sister-in-my-head Molly Ringwald:

Molly Ringwald Remembers John Hughes

Molly Rinwald turns 41 today - but she will always be the 16-year-old Samantha Baker from Sixteen Candles to me.

In my opinion, Sixteen Candles was pretty much the perfect movie - and Jake Ryan was pretty much the perfect guy. Don't you agree?

Molly is currently pregnant with twins - and is due to give birth to a boy and a girl in August. She and her husband already have a daughter.
