Meet "Juanna Blomie"...

I got some great suggestions from the BunnyNation on YESTERDAY'S POST about my "rebound" hairdryer/friend (above).  I asked for naming assistance since my old hairdryer/friend was called "Chic", and I felt the new one should be personalized as well.

Suggestions included "Sassy Smurf", "Vita Sassay", "Sashay" and "Blue Job".  But my favorite came from DustBunny Lee, who suggested "Heywood Jablomie".  Hysterical!!

I pondered it for awhile and decided "Heywood" was a guy's name, and my new blue friend was definitely a she.  So I chose a name of one of Heywood's distant cousins from Canarsie ... "Juanna Blomie".  Juanna is a five-time dropout of the Brooklyn Academy of Coiffure and Nail Artistry and is the founder of the "Blomie Behind Bars" inmate beauty program.  Her hobbies include Peach Schnapps and Dropping It Like It's Hot up in da club. Forealz.

My "Rebound Hairdryer"

Earlier this week I told you about my 25-year-old hairdryer named "Chic" - who became my friend and confidant during her many years of faithful service.  After Chic's passing, I observed the appropriate mourning period for hairdryers/friends (3 days, FYI) and purchased a replacement (above).

Now I'm trying to decide whether to call her "Vida" or "Sassy" - what do you think?  Any other name suggestions will also be considered - so please leave a comment.

Whatever her name is, that blue biatch CERTAINLY has some big (burgundy) shoes to fill ...
