Go-Go Wednesday Daddy Of The Day - Luiz Tribal

Luiz is an extremely popular go-go dancer in his native Brazil. Happy Go-Go Wednesday!!

Stop The Lies!!

Some lying, dirty Trade is saying that my childhood idol - Boy George - chained him up and abused him. Boy George (real name, George O'Dowd - above) is on trial for the "false imprisonment" of escort Auden Carlsen (below) Read the story from Towleroad HERE.

I would say Carlsen probably deserved it, but that would be insensitive and not very politically correct. How about "Bitch LIKED it and BEGGED for it" - hows that? No good??

Stop the injustice! Freedom for the Karma Chameleon!!

Up, Up And AWAY For Thanksgiving

I will be leaving bright and early tomorrow morning for the land of my birth - Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Therefore, posting will probably be lighter than usual. I will return on Tuesday.

As far as Top Chef goes, I have every intention of watching it tomorrow night and posting my usual recap. However, that whole process may be delayed by a day or two, since I will be shoving food down my gullet all day and night Thursday. For everything Top Chef-related, visit our friend Chef Biatch and the crew over at Blogging Top Chef.

Slingbacks And Syrup

I have just seen the feel-good documentary of the decade! Slingbacks and Syrup, starring our very own Dust Bunny Amber LeMay (below), was recently a huge hit at the Vermont International Film Festival - and I can see why. It is funny, touching, and extremely entertaining. By the way - this was the only picture I could find where our dear Amber didn't have a drink in her hand...

Anywhoo, the documentary follows the "ladies" of the House of LeMay, a troupe of drag queens from the fictional Hot Damn Trailer Park in the fictional town of Beaver Pond, VT. The LeMay's story is told by filmmaker/director Russell Dreher, who met the LeMays during his graduate studies in Burlington, VT. Dreher tells us how this troupe of hilarious, outrageous, and GORGEOUS performers changed his life through their friendship.

We meet (from left to right, below) Lucy Belle LeMay, Amber, Marguarite LeMay, and Liza Little. We also get to meet the real men behind the mascara - and all the behind-the-scenes work they do to raise money and awareness for various charities and good causes.

For more information about the movie, go to the website HERE. And for more information on the House of Lemay (including their wonderful blog), click HERE.

Better yet - go HERE and purchase a copy of Slingbacks and Syrup for the drag queen/performer/glamour bitch in your life. It makes a perfect holiday gift or stocking stuffer.

Or, to purchase and watch on-line - go HERE. You'll be glad you did.

XOXO
