It would be interesting to compare this chart (legally required) to a chart summarizing paid time off actually given. Most US companies do, in fact, give paid time off, even though they are not required to do so, in order to remain competitive in the hiring market.

I would like to see that also. However, I bet we'd be surprised at what we saw.
For instance, in the restaurant business, it is not uncommon to get no paid holidays, no vacation, no sick time and zero benefits. Even the managers at my restaurant get nothing. Luckily I was hired by the previous owner - so I get some of the above.
However, I get zero sick days and have been told that I will never get a raise as long as I work here - no one has in four years since the new owner bought the place.
You are lucky to work for a company who actually gives a shit about its workers - many people do not.
