This week I passed model/actor Ben Pamies on 6th Avenue and you can be assured that he's the epitome of "tall, dark and handsome".

... and having a beer with a buddy. Talk about tall, dark and handsome ... WOW. And ladies, you'll be happy to know that he seems straight as an arrow. Damn!

Subway Model Stalking - Deric Mickens

Yesterday, as I was waiting for the train to take me back to Queens, I spotted a gorgeous and familiar face (and body).  It was Deric Mickens, the Iowa boy turned NYC model/actor - who I also saw back in MAY.  So I whipped out my trusty cell phone and snapped a few pics ...

I'm telling you, that boy is a VISION of beauty. Unfortunately my madd photography skillz were a little lacking and my pics don't do him justice.

Spotted At The Dollar Store

After work I decided to get some exercise (I know, right?!?), so I walked to my old standby Dollar Store (which is a 1 1/2 mile trip).  Upon entering I immediately spied a tall and handsome HOTTAY who was inspecting the eggs more thoroughly than the Department of Agriculture.  For the purposes of this post I will simply call him A.M., because when the names of certain "actors" from a particular genre of "movies" get mentioned on the blog, my advertisers (and the pennies I get from it) tend to go away.

And just to prove that I don't make these things up, here is a grainy cell phone pic of A.M. purchasing his basket of dairy products.

NOTE:  Unfortunately if you use his name in the comments I'll have to hit the "REJECT" button on your ass.  I REALLY need those advertising pennies!!!

Street Sightings - Deric Mickens

I have featured model/actor Deric Mickens on the blog before, but today I actually saw him in person.  Deric was talking to a friend on Waverly Place this afternoon when I walked past, and he is absolutely GORGEOUS in person.

Earlier in the week I saw two delicious men within 3 minutes of each other - during my short morning walk to the subway.  And no, neither of these guys was the ghost of Mr. Rogers (above).

Below is He-Man, who I think works in my neighborhood (at one of the gyms?).  Here is the POST I did about He-Man during the early days of the blog.

The other guy I saw was Torez - a "dancer/entertainer" (cough, cough) who lives around the corner from me.  Torez is tall, Brazilian, and extremely Daddyish - my buddy Dwight recently featured him HERE.

The excellent "view" is one of the best things about living in Hells Kitchen, NYC.

"Excuse Me Sir, What's a Ding-ie?"

When I walked out of work last night, I encountered a street vendor that I had never seen before - the Wafels & Dinges truck. I pretty much could figure out what a "Wafel" was, but I had never heard of "Dinges" before.


So I walked up to the nice man in the truck and asked him what a "ding-ie" was. He chuckled and explained that "dinges" (pronounced "DING-uhs" not "Ding-ie") is a Flemish slang word for "stuff". He went on to say that in this case, dinges refers to the various toppings that one can have on their "Wafels".


No, I didn't order anything - but I always love learning new dinges! Actually, I did some research on the intranetz and found out that in addition to slinging waffles with "stuff", these friendly Wafflers are also Bloggers! Check out their blog HERE.

On The Streets of NYC...

OMG - I walked behind this guy for blocks and blocks on my way home from work tonight. I actually almost missed the Dollar Store while I tried to take these pics of him.

You should all be proud of me - these were the first (blurry) pictures I've ever taken with a cell phone. And after MUCH trial and error, I figured out how to download them to my computer. When it comes to technology, I have to take baby steps...

Twilight and Hunk Sightings

Okay - how lame is my life? I walked over to Blockbuster yesterday to rent Twilight - just so I could use the above picture on my blog. LAME!!

I don't normally read books - so I know NOTHING about the Twilight universe - and I'm not sure after watching the movie that I'm interested in learning more. But one thing I was interested in was that cute Native-American/Wolf "Jacob" - who I thought was just delicious. So I Googled him after the movie was finished, and found out that Jacob was portrayed by Taylor Lautner - who is only 17 YEARS OLD!!!! Which makes me officially an old pervert.

Actually, the highlight of my Twilight experience was the actual trip to Blockbuster. The store is about 4 blocks from my house, and on the way I passed on of my absolute favorite Hotties EVAH - Alex Pirolozzi...

Oh ... Em ... Gee... he is even sexier in real-life. Alex was with an incredibly attractive young woman (I'm assuming his girlfriend), and it looked like they were picking up some burgers for dinner. After leaving Island Burgers and Shakes (a neighborhood favorite - below), they headed toward 10th Avenue. It looked very much like one or both of them actually live in my neighborhood.


I don't know if my heart can take seeing that man on the street again...
