In the fall of 2000, Brian Sims was a defensive tacke and the team captain of the Bloomsburg University (PA) football team, and in the video above he shares his story about coming out to his teammates. Actually, as he says it, his fellow athletes "came out" to him.
Personal note: He mentions being in Shippensburg, which is a small college town located about 15 miles from where I was born and raised. I've been in Shippensburg many times (and even partied there), but I've never heard about any drunken Jello wrestling.

Brian Sims is now an attorney living in Philadelphia, where he is extremely active in LGBT issues.

That was a great story.
Thanks for sharing that. I'm sometimes guilty of not giving people enough credit. Clearly one of those instances.
