I didn't see Johnny Weir (or anyone else) skate last night because I was taking notes for Project Runway - but I saw this picture at Joe.My.God and I just had to post it.
I love a Queen who simply doesn't give a fig what ANYONE thinks - I wish I could be more like that. And if Johhny Weir isn't a judge on Season 3 of RuPaul's Drag Race, I will be HIGHLY upset!!

I missed last night performances as well. I so wanted Johnny to place. It was his reality show on Sundance that piqued my interest towards figure skating this Olympic season. I'm going to have to google both his and Lysacek performances.
From your mouth to God's ear.
...is the female version of a hustler?
Johnny skated beautifully, and got no favors from the judges. For my money, he had the best free skate of the night.
For the record, a fan gave the rose garland to Weir; he did not wear it while skating. I agree he skated very well and was screwed by the judges. But the look on Pleshenko's face when he lost? PRICELESS.
Pleshenko did not lose gracefully! I thought Weir's scores were too low, too, but I can't figure out what and how the judges score that anyway.
weir's program was too simple.
plushenko's program was atrociously ugly. all he does is jump, which he does well, but nothing in between. he shouldda finished much lower.
the french skater, amodio, was a deliciously little cute twink, wasn't he?
I think Johnny truly is a gifted skater. Unfortunately his bent to be true to himself often rubs the figure skating community the wrong way and has likely affected his career. I thought he was robbed of a bronze medal after his long program.
