YMCA Now Just "The Y" - Village People Get The Sads

The YMCA has decided to drop the MCA and simply call themselves "The Y". This news gave the Village People a big case of the sads and they issued a statement:

“We are deeply dismayed by today’s announcement from the YMCA that they feel a name change and a rebranding are in order after 166 years. Some things remain iconic and while we admire the organization for the work they do, we still can’t help but wonder Y."

Doing the old Y-M-C-A arm gestures just won't be the same ...

Yankee Rookies Play Dress Up

The Yankees (and many other ball clubs) "haze" their rookies at the end of each season as a rite of passage. This year the Yankees dressed their rookies up as members of the Village People. Pretty damn authentic, for a bunch of straight boys.
