OMG - This is a real thing:

Allan Sherwood was the first buddy doll created for Ken. The vintage Allan doll first came on the market in 1964. His creation mirrored the creation of Barbie's pal, Midge. Allan was advertised as Midge's "boyfriend".

Yeah ... just like Marcus Bachmann is advertised as Michele's "husband".

Nice try, Mattel.

Barbie Will DESTROY You...

A judge gave the rights to the popular Bratz line of dolls (below) to Mattel this week - saying the developer of the dolls created them while employed by Mattel (the owners of Barbie). MGA - the company who has made millions from the Bratz dolls, faces a recall and possible destruction of the dolls in February if their appeals fail. Read more HERE.
