BREAKING (literally): Andrew Shirvell Broke My Gaydar!

By now you've probably heard about Andrew Shirvell (below) - an Assistant District Attorney from Michigan who went on an extremely weird crusade against University of Michigan student body president Chris Armstrong. You see, Chris Armstrong is openly gay - the first openly gay student body president in Univ. of Michigan history - and this enraged Shirvell, and alumnus of the school. In order to publicize his distaste for Armstrong, Shirvell created a blog - Chris Armstrong Watch - calling Armstrong everything from "radical" to "a Nazi" to claiming he engaged in "flagrant sexual promiscuity".

Anywhore, I've been reading about the case but I just assumed that Shirvell (who has been suspended from his job because of the harrassment) was just a creep. But then the Daily Show interviewed him, and it all became crystal clear ...
