Afternoon Dance Break - Gimme Luv (Eenie Meenie Miny Mo)

Yet another early 90's dance hit from the scorchingly hot daddy DJ David Morales (above).  The female vocals were done by amazing vocalist and drag artist Donna Giles.  Sadly, Giles died due to AIDS-related complications shortly after I saw her perform Gimme Luv live at Wigstock in 1993 (see bottom clip for a portion of her performance).

Amazing Drag Vocalist - Sade Pendarvis

I just saw this video on Lady Bunny's Blog.  It is from Wigstock (2005) - the late, lamented DRAGSTAVAGANZA that was run and MC'd by Lady Bunny (who is featured at the beginning of the clip above).

Drag Queen Sade Pendarvis takes the Doobie Brother's "Takin It To The Streets" and makes it her own.  Pendarvis really has an amazing voice - watch this.
