Happy 'Sundog' From Charlie

I just returned to Mama Bunny's house from a fun and refreshing weekend at the lake with my dad and brother. And now I'm frantically trying to catch up on the innerwebz, since I didn't have web access (or even cell phone service) the entire time.

So our regularly-scheduled Bunday is being replace by a 'Sundog' post, featuring my brother's pride and joy: Charlie. This is simply due to the fact that I have a bunch of Charlie pics on-hand right now, and no good Bunny pics to share while here at Casa Mama Bunny.

I know some of you will ask what breed she is: Charlie is a mutt. Her father was a Pit Bull and her mother was somewhat of a Ho (they suspect she has Rhodesian Ridgeback in there somewhere). She is the sweetest Goggie in the world and is spoiled rotten by my brother and Sister-In-Law.

Yikes - typing the date (above) just made me remember that my "little brother" turns 40 years old today. Happy Birthday, Brother Bunny!!!

A "New Low" For My Brother

I got the following text from my brother (above) yesterday:

New low … we got kicked out of a bar in Perry County for drinking moonshine in the parking lot.

FYI:  Perry County is the extremely rural, very “country” (some might even call it “backwards”) county north of where I grew up.  According to Wikipedia, 98.54% of the 43,602 residents are white, and it is one of the most Republican counties in PA.  When you drive through Perry County (pronounced “Purry” County by the locals) you’ll notice a plethora of two things: bars and churches.  Furthermore, the entire county didn’t have (or need) a traffic light until last year.

So, for Brother Bunny to get kicked out of a bar in Perry County is not a "new low" in my book - that's a WIN.  But to get kicked out for drinking moonshine in the parking lot turns this into an EPIC WIN with a side of AWESOME.

Birthday "Boys"

Today is I Should Be Laughing blogger Bob's birthday ... but for today we shall refer to her as "Sugar Crestridge" (above).  Happy Birthday, Sugar!!!!

Today is also my kid brother's birthday - and I just figured out that he's 39 FRIGGIN' YEARS OLD!!!!  How can my "little brother" (below) be 39????  Especially considering that I'm only 23 [cough, hack, cough, choke].  Anyoldwhore, Happy Birthday, Brother Bunny!!

Mama And Brother Bunny

We celebrated Christmas Day at my brother's house - and here is a picture of Mama Bunny and Brother Bunny. Yes, that is a tattoo on Dan's arm - he has many.

It was a wonderful day - with four little girls (sort of my nieces - it's a long story) between the ages of 2 and 7 years-old there with us. The girls are tons of fun, and they just LOVE to play with "Uncle David" - but after just a couple of hours I was exhausted. I truly have no idea how you parents out there do it 24/7.
