I spent 7 hours yesterday watching the first season of Downton Abbey (via Hulu) and WOW, is it ever good! I've been wondering why everyone keeps talking about this show and now I know why. There are just two words: Dowager Countess.
Time to get on with Season Two...

I did that with 'The Walking Dead' marathon on A&E... don't tell me I need to catch up on '...Abbey' too..!
I'm down with Downton, hooked from the first episode of last year. And now, it seems that Lady Grantham's mother is coming to Downtown for season 3, to be played by Shirley MacLaine.
MacLaine and Smith?!? I will be there!!

I'm surprised they didn't include my favorite moment. The Dowager Countess makes a snide remark about Mrs. Crawley. Mrs. Crawley says, "I'll take that as a compliment." The DC says in an aside: "I must not have said it properly."

Girl, I can't believe your now watching!!!!! I love my BBC on the weekends. On Saturday night at the Casa It's always, Keeping up Appearances, As Time Goes By, Are You Being Served and then Waiting fo God. Sunday-Downtown Abbey! And you know Maggie will tear the screen up with whatever she does!
Downton Abbey is total costume crack!
