Zoey Gets An Emmy Nomination!
Merritt Wever, who plays the quirky Zoey on Nurse Jackie, has been nominated for an Emmy. Go Zoey! I hope she wears Zoey's signature animal scrubs (seen above with Cupid pigs) instead of a gown on Emmy night.
See a full list of nominees HERE.

I'm Addicted To Downton Abbey
I spent 7 hours yesterday watching the first season of Downton Abbey (via Hulu) and WOW, is it ever good! I've been wondering why everyone keeps talking about this show and now I know why. There are just two words: Dowager Countess.
Time to get on with Season Two...

American Horror Story: Are You Watching?
Is anyone else watching American Horror Story? OMG - I LOOOOOVE this show! It's intriguing and creepy - plus it features the fabulous Jessica Lange and the incredibly hot Dylan McDermott.
Although 'Rubber Suit Guy' really freaks me out...

I Have Cable TV Again!
For the past two weeks, this Bunny has been without TV - and it drove me absolutely insane. After our Dish Network account was cancelled by our outgoing roommate, my remaining roomie and I decided to change over to Time-Warner - which took some time to happen but they finally installed yesterday.
So I spent most of last night catching up on HBO's Game of Thrones - which features the delicious Jason Momoa (above and below)...
... and the handsome Kit Harington...
I haven't spent that much time vegging out on the couch in front of the TV in ages - and it was absolute heaven.
And while we're on the topic of Game of Thrones (and couches) - you can go ahead and file this under: "OMG, David Is SO Gay!" -
When I first started hearing about "Game of Thrones", I thought people were saying "Game of THROWS". And I couldn't figure out how anyone could come up with a GAME based on couch throws and pillows - and why in the hell they'd make a TV series about it.
No, I'm not kidding. And YES ... my extreme gayness sometimes amazes even myself.

AbFab Will Return, Sweetie
By now many of you have heard that Absolutely Fabulous - one of the most, well, fabulous TV shows in the history of the world, will film three new episodes this summer. And since this news is a little old and has already been reported in most media outlets (Harper's, Tatler, English Vogue, American Vogue, French Vogue, bloody Aby-bloody-ssinian bloody Vogue, darling), I wasn't going to mention it.
But then Tom & Lorenzo went and posted an absolutely fabulous AbFab highlights video which needed to be shared with the BunnyNation - so here it is. I'm chanting as we speak ...

Facts Of Life Reunion!
Cloris Leachman (84), Mindy Cohn (44), Kim Fields (41), Charlotte Rae (84), Geri Jewell (54), Lisa Whelchel (47) and Nancy McKeon (45) reunited for the taping of the TV Land Awards here in New York on Sunday night. A couple of thoughts:
- You all know that Geri Jewell recently came out, didn't you? Yep - GERI ... not Nancy McKeon!
- I don't have any recollection of Cloris Leachman ever being on Facts of Life, but my goodness she looks fantastic. Actually, they all look pretty good.
- I once saw Charlotte Rae walking down the street in NYC. Scratch that - I HEARD Mrs. Garrett, looked up, and there was Charlotte Rae talking to a friend. Her voice is unmistakable.
And here is Mrs. Garrett and the Girls back in the day...

Things Karen Walker Has Implied
Things Karen Walker has implied:
- She was involved in the Patty Hearst kidnapping.
- She’s done jello shots with John Oates of Hall & Oates
- She’s almost 200 years old.
- She once hired Picasso to paint a portrait of her, but fired him because he painted her breasts on the same side of her body.
- She was alive during the Great Depression.
- She made some sort of pact with the Devil in order to live forever.
- She had an affair with Martina Navratilova in the 1980s, who claimed to be straight before she met Karen.
- She was Ronald Reagan’s mistress.
- She’s Asian.
- She was on Dynasty.
- She believes that if you hit a gay man in the head with an object, he’ll say “Eh, all in a day.”
- That the words “Hola, SeƱor” in Spanish translate to “Do you know Elton John?” and “You look like a big, mincing queen”.
- When she was a boy, she used to work at a supermarket.
- She claims to receive money every now and then from Linda Hussein (Saddam’s wife) after Karen won a bet over who had the worst husband.
- She’s in a gang and is a fan of Gangsta rap and Aerosmith.
- She smoked pot with Debbie Harry.
- She and Candice Bergen set up Martha Stewart to go to prison.
- She believes the homeless are actually a cult, like the Moonies.
- She believes that “one of the most exotic essences on the planet” is milk.
- She had intimate relationships with Steven Tyler, Jon Voight and Goldie Hawn. All of them ended up favoring their daughters (Liv Tyler, Angelina Jolie and Kate Hudson, respectively) over Karen, which she implies is the reason why those relationships ended.

Best 2010 TV Moment - Russell Goes On the Air
I agree wholeheartedly with my friend Wonder Man on this one: Russell Edgington, the Vampire King of Mississippi on True Blood, had this year's greatest TV moment. It was the perfect combination of terrifying and campy:

Bonita Butrell - Holiday Volunteer
Back in the day, Miss Bonita Butrell was my favorite character/skit on In Living Color. Miss Bonita wasn't one to gossip (so you didn't hear it from her) - and don't you DARE say anything bad about Miss Jenkins ...

Anastasia Beaverhausen Speaks ...
"Oh, honey. No one in the world would believe you’re straight. You’re as gay as a clutch purse on Tony night. You fell out of the gay tree, hitting every gay branch on the way down. And you landed on a gay guy. And you did him".

I Miss Will & Grace
Thanks to Kayce for this (BTW - Dear Kayce: WTF is a tumblr, and why can't I leave a comment? Love, DD):
Will & Grace: Jack's Coffee Monologue:
Hey, friends, lovers, mothers, and other strangers. You’re never going to believe what happened to me. Oh, my gosh! Did you see that? I almost did the half nelson. I almost bruised my delicates, my delicates, my domo arigato Mr. Tomatoes. Huge news! I have met— Are you ready for this? Mr. Right. Well, Mr. Right-Now, anyway. Ba-da-bum! Good night, folks, I’m here all week. Jack 2000! He works over at the Jumpin’ Java. You know that coffee shop on 72nd? And his name is Paul. He is cute with a capital “Q”! And the busier it gets, the hotter he gets. And the hotter he gets, the sweatier he gets. And the sweatier he gets— I forgot where I’m going with this, but the point is… Me likey he, and he likey me. And the best part is— Shazam— he gives me free iced coffee every time I go in, which is every hour on the hour. Thank you very much! And occasionally on the half hour! Bah-da-da-da-da! Blblblbt!

Dear Baby Jeebus: Please Make This Happen, Amen
Via Joe.My.God - Absolutely Fabulous may be returning with the full original cast!
Joanna Lumley has revealed she will be reunited with Jennifer Saunders, 52, in a revival of the hit television sitcom. The actress said she was in talks with Miss Saunders – who created the show – to bring back the champagne-guzzling, foul-mouthed, chain-smoking fashionistas for a comeback. And even though the characters Edina Monsoon and Patsy Stone would by now probably be pensioners, Miss Lumley said: ‘Jen wrote to me and said, “Let’s talk through it. What do you think?” And I said, “Bring it on.”
I can't tell you how excited this makes me - but I'll believe it when I see it. AbFab fans have been let down before.

Laverne & Shirley - "Betty Please"
When I was a kid I LOVED Laverne & Shirley - and this is my absolute favorite scene from that show. Laverne saying "Betty Please" into the microphone still cracks me up to this day...

80's Flashback - General Hospitale
NOTE: I posted this video back in January, but I thought it would be appropriate to re-post today (with additional commentary).
For those of you who didn't watch "GH" (as we called it back then), this video will make absolutely no sense to you. But if you happened to be a General Hospital fan back in the 80's, it will bring back lots of memories.
Side Note: When I was a kid I had a paper route which required me to deliver newspapers after school (anyone remember EVENING newspapers?!?? - DAMN I'm old...). But I was such a huge General Hospital fan that I would come home and watch GH first - and THEN deliver the newspapers. This displeased many of the people on my route - especially the elderly - because they wanted their paper NOW (so they could read the Obituaries - seriously). However, when one hires a gay Paperboy, one must realize that our priorities (watch fave soap opera, fix hair, deliver newspapers - in that order) are somewhat different than our straight counterparts (deliver newspapers, think about girls, play sports - in that order).
BTW - Since there is just an ever-so-slight possibility I may write some snarky things about my hospital visit, I've decided not to actually name the facility where I was treated. From now on it will be referred to as "General Hospitale".
