The Day Anderson Cooper Prevented Me From Eating Fried Chicken - But Almost Gave Me A Heart Attack Anyway

Earlier in the week I had a Close Encounter of the Gay Kind - I passed Anderson Cooper on the street near my job.

It was lunchtime and my evil "FUCKIT!" switch had gone off – telling my brain that we were HONGRAY for Fried Chicken. The nearby Gourmet Garage (it’s like a condensed version of Whole Foods) always has some pretty good chicken at their deli counter, so off I went to satisfy my craving.

But immediately after crossing the street I noticed a silver-haired hottay coming right at me. It didn’t take long to realize that this was uber-Journamalist, A-Gay, and Vanderbilt Jeans heiress Anderson Cooper.

But DAMN – that Queen moves fast! I hesitated for a second, but then thought it would be a hoot to get a picture for my DustBunnies (talk about journamalism!). So I went on the chase…

I had no idea that the descendants of Commodore Vanderbilt were frickin’ built for speed. ACoop was moving faster than me at an all-you-can-eat Arby’s Buffet or Charlie Sheen on his way out the door of Rehab. Darlings, he was putting FloJo to shame on the streets of NYC. Needless to say, I never caught up to him – and was only able to snap this very blurry picture (top) while on the move.

My moment with Anderson Cooper, however, DID make me forget about Fried Chicken AND it prompted me to get a little exercise. So there’s that.

But next time, dear Andy, cut a fat girl a break and slow down a little. No need to kill a biatch...

Which leaves CNN with one openly gay anchor (Lemon) and one not-so-openly gay anchor (Anderson Cooper). Television Cuties

I've noticed some (formerly unknown to me) hotties appearing on my TV screen during the last few weeks. One of them is Haaz Sleiman - who plays a gay muslim nurse on Nurse Jackie. Has anyone seen that show? I LOVE it, but then again I'd pay money to watch Edie Falco (below) alphabetize her spice rack: "Allspice ... Basil ... Bay Leaf ... Cardamom ... ".

Yet another season of The Real World has begun (In Roman Numerals, this is Season XXVIIXXCCVIIXCCV), and this time they're in Cancun. And YES, there is the requisite Gay - and he's a cute New Mexico native named Derek Chavez...

I saw former Daddy of the Day Alex Castro on the History Channel playing Hannibal (the military dude from Carthage - NOT Hannibal Lector). All Alex had to do was look stern and flex his muscles ... so naturally he was PERFECT for the part...

I recently noticed cutie Douglas Spain playing the role of "Raul Arias" on one of my favorite shows, CSI Miami. Once I saw him I just had to fire up The Google and find out more...

I dont watch So You Think You Can Dance that much, but I was sad to see cutie Jonathan Platero get sent home...

I have won a pair of tickets to the Radio City Music Hall Speaker Series for March 31st. That evening, Anderson Cooper will conduct a live interview with D.L. Hughley, Ariana Huffington, and AssHat Mike Huckabee.

I had forgotten about commenting on JMG's Swag post - but I'm SOOO pleasantly surprised to actually win something!! I haven't been to Radio City Music Hall in ages (it's only a few blocks from my apartment) - and it will be interesting to see this non-traditional 'live entertainment'. I will make sure to give you all a full recap.

I know I have mentioned this before, but for those of you who enjoy my blog - you can thank Joe.My.God for inspiring me to start DavidDust. He is simply a SUPERSTAR in my world - and his blogging made me want to start a blog of my own. Joe is so MAJOR, that I was too intimidated to introduce myself to him at a Prop 8 protest. "Real World" Papi of the Day - J.D. Ordonez

Yesterday I featured Real World: Brooklyn hottie Scott Herman. Today I am featuring his housemate - J.D. Ordonez. This openly gay 23-year-old was born and raised in Florida and went through a difficult childhood due to his homophobic father. When J.D. was a young boy, his Grandmother brought him to Sea World, where he fell in love with the Dolphins.

J.D. recently graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Marine Biology. While still in school, Ordonez became one of the youngest Dolphin Trainers in the world - a job he still holds today.

A few EXTREMELY interesting things about J.D. - He is rumored to have dated Anderson Cooper and he apparently requires extra-large condoms although he claims not to have used them in the Real World house.
