CSI: Miami - Good News and Bad News

CSI: Miami is the only CSI/Law & Order/Crime-type show I regularly watch - mainly to see hot papi Adam Rodriguez (above, left) who plays Eric Delko. So, last night during the season premiere I was excited to see an additional hot Papi had joined the cast - Eddie Cibrian (below)...

But then I did some Internet research and found out that Cibrian joined the show to REPLACE Adam Rodriguez - who will leave in a few weeks. Cue my sad face :(

Is there a "One Hot Papi Only" rule at CBS?!? WTF??? Rodriguez is leaving to "pursue other opportunities", but to me he'll always be 'Eric Delko" - and a very early DavidDust "Daddy of the Day".

Television Cuties

I've noticed some (formerly unknown to me) hotties appearing on my TV screen during the last few weeks. One of them is Haaz Sleiman - who plays a gay muslim nurse on Nurse Jackie. Has anyone seen that show? I LOVE it, but then again I'd pay money to watch Edie Falco (below) alphabetize her spice rack: "Allspice ... Basil ... Bay Leaf ... Cardamom ... ".

Yet another season of The Real World has begun (In Roman Numerals, this is Season XXVIIXXCCVIIXCCV), and this time they're in Cancun. And YES, there is the requisite Gay - and he's a cute New Mexico native named Derek Chavez...

I saw former Daddy of the Day Alex Castro on the History Channel playing Hannibal (the military dude from Carthage - NOT Hannibal Lector). All Alex had to do was look stern and flex his muscles ... so naturally he was PERFECT for the part...

I recently noticed cutie Douglas Spain playing the role of "Raul Arias" on one of my favorite shows, CSI Miami. Once I saw him I just had to fire up The Google and find out more...

I dont watch So You Think You Can Dance that much, but I was sad to see cutie Jonathan Platero get sent home...

And, finally, it looks like television hottie Anderson Cooper has found a great big giant hunk of gorgeousness to go "bike-riding" with. Get it, Girl!

I KNEW Speedle Was a Good Guy!

In my DVR-less world, I've had to choose between Heroes and 24 this season (they both air on Monday's at 9:00 PM) - and I've chosen to watch 24. Heroes has lost its magic for me - and I can never get enough of Jack Bauer kicking ASS.

I was so thrilled to find out that Carlos Bernard (below) was back on 24 this season, playing Tony Almeida. At first it seemed that Tony was working for the terrorists - but Tony Almeida could never be a bad guy, and we soon saw his true (good guy) colors.

I was also happy to see former CSI: Miami actor Rory Cochrane (below) this season on 24 - although he too was initially playing on Team Terror. I loved Cochrane when he played Tim Speedle on CSI: Miami - he was snarky, unkempt, and a little nerdy - but somehow it worked. I cried my eyes out when "Speed" died.


So I was extra-super-duper excited to see Rory's character embrace the good guys and team up with Almeida on 24 last night. Tim Speedle would never let me down...


UPDATE: I didn't get to see the ending of the show last night, and now I'm hearing that Cochrane's character is still a bad guy! Is this true?? Damn that 24, with its' plot twists!!

Good TV Night

24 continued it's new season on Fox last night with another 2-hour episode. I KNEW Tony Almeida (above) wasn't a bad guy! And I was so happy to see Chloe (below) behind her omnipotent computer terminal. Why doesn't Chloe just hack into the Treasury Department and wire some of those TARP funds into a Swiss bank account and retire? You KNOW she could do it and never get caught.

Then there was a new episode of CSI: Miami - featuring one of the hottest papis on TV, Adam Rodriguez ("Eric Delko" - below).

I wonder if this will be the season when Calleigh and Eric (below) finally get together?...

The Cast of CSI Miami

Adam Rodriguez, from CSI Miami, was one of my first Daddies of the Day. And he is still one of my all-time favorites – even though he has the bad habit of sometimes wearing silly hats.

CSI Miami is one of those shows I love because it doesn’t require you to think too hard. They ALWAYS find some ridiculous “needle in a haystack” piece of evidence that neatly solves the crime at the end of the hour. And even though series star David Caruso is an ASS (his father is a regular at my restaurant – and even HE thinks his son is unbearable!), looking at Adam Rodriguez makes it all worthwhile.

Gorgeous Men Should Never Wear Hats

Hot men should not wear hats (except baseball caps). The most gorgeous man in the world can be totally transformed into a fugly cheeseball by putting on a silly hat.

Case in point - my daddy Adam Rodriguez from CSI Miami. As you can see from my previous post, and from the pictures below, he is a total stud.

Now look how retarded he looks when he wears a hat (pics from a CBS event earlier this week - courtesy of A Socialite's Life):

As you can see - without hat = extremely hot. With hat = extremely NOT...and vaguely Amish.

Daddy Of The Day - Adam Rodriguez

Today is Labor Day, and I am enjoying the day off from work. A&E is showing a "CSI Miami" marathon - but unfortunately I have seen most of them. However, that's not stopping me from watching these episodes again.

I was never one of those people who watched Law & Order, CSI, etc., until I laid eyes on Adam Rodriguez. He is 32, Puerto-Rican & Cuban, and 6' 1". And he has the sexiest damn lips I have ever seen. About a year ago A&E had another CSI Miami marathon, and that's when I discovered the show and fell for this hottie.

I could watch Adam all day - and I plan on it!
