I won't know for sure until my doctor is consulted, but there's a 99.99% chance that I have Shingles - and it is NO JOKE. I haven't felt pain like this since the day the Manhattan Arby's closed, or when Fox cancelled Jonny Zero in 2005. Posting will be light until my doctor can be found and medication (PAINKILLERS!!) can be obtained. In the meantime, enjoy 46 seconds of my husband-in-my-head Franky G in the late, lamented Jonny Zero:

Merry Christmas From Fox 'News'
I just love it when The Simpsons pokes fun at their bosses at Fox (and Fox's "News" network).

Glee - Episode 2 Tomorrow on Fox

One of the most enjoyable hours of television I've ever experienced was the Pilot episode of Glee - which was shown this past spring on Fox. The goal was to get people excited about the upcoming fall season of the show, and I have to say - it worked. I cannot wait to see Episode 2 tomorrow night at 9PM on Fox.
Here is a little taste ...
Who else will be watching?...

I Am In Love...

... no, not with a real human being - but with a television show. Fox's Glee, to be exact.
I missed Glee's airing this past week, but many of you had good things to say about it on your blogs. So yesterday I watched it on Hulu - and I am truly in love. Seriously, if I could make-out with a television show, Glee would be the show I would totally suck-face with. I love Glee so much that I want to show up outside it's bedroom window with a boombox and a cassette tape of Peter Gabriel's In Your Eyes...

The pilot episode had so much going for it: Journey songs, cute guys who sing Journey songs, an Amy Winehouse "Rehab" musical number, and Jane Lynch (who plays the hard-charging cheerleading coach). I could watch Jane Lynch (below) polish brass or water her lawn - because she could somehow make it funny...

Seriously, Glee was the gayest, feel-goodiest thing I've seen since RuPaul's Drag Race. Now I just have to wait patiently for four months until the next episode (Glee is on Fox's fall schedule). Who will I make-out with until then?!?

AbFab USA is Dead

After reviewing the pilot, Fox has passed on the American version of Absolutely Fabulous. It was bound to disappoint us Gays anyway. Read more HERE.

Absolutely Fabulous?... Not So Much

Queerty sent a correspondent to a taping of Fox's U.S. remake of Absolutely Fabulous, and things do NOT look promising. Read the story we had all feared HERE.

Don't F*ck Up AbFab!

Fox has begun filming the American pilot of Absolutely Fabulous - and gay men everywhere are concerned. Will they destroy one of the most ... well ... FABULOUS television shows that ever existed?
The picture above is of Kristen Johnston (left) who will recreate the Patsy role, and Kathryn Hahn (???) who will play Edina. Kristen gave an interview last month that has people worried about a watered-down version of our two favorite insecure, coked-up, shopaholic drunks...

“I think they captured the exact amount of sweetie-darling," she says. "I mean, it’s a totally different element, it’s a totally different show. We don’t smoke, we are hungover all the time, we chew Nicorette, we’re trying to be more PC, but I think it really works. It’s one of those scripts that’s like my favorite kind because on paper you’re like, Oh, this is funny, but when you read it out loud with two actresses, it’s, like, the funniest shit ever.”

Good TV Night

24 continued it's new season on Fox last night with another 2-hour episode. I KNEW Tony Almeida (above) wasn't a bad guy! And I was so happy to see Chloe (below) behind her omnipotent computer terminal. Why doesn't Chloe just hack into the Treasury Department and wire some of those TARP funds into a Swiss bank account and retire? You KNOW she could do it and never get caught.

Then there was a new episode of CSI: Miami - featuring one of the hottest papis on TV, Adam Rodriguez ("Eric Delko" - below).

I wonder if this will be the season when Calleigh and Eric (below) finally get together?...

True Facts About Jack Bauer
One of my favorite shows, 24, premieres tonight on Fox. I came across some "true facts" about 24's lead character - Jack Bauer. Here are some of my favorites...Harry Houdini is the world's second greatest escape artist. The First is Jack Bauer. I never saw Houdini bite a guy's neck in order to escape.
Kiefer Sutherland drinks to forget all the terrible things Jack Bauer has done.
Jack Bauer once forgot where he put his keys. He then spent the next half-hour torturing himself until he gave up the location of the keys.
Jack Bauer sleeps with a gun under the pillow. But he could kill you with the pillow.
Jack and Jill went up the hill. Only Jack came down. Jill was a fucking terrorist.
And here is one that only true fans of the show will understand:
If Jack Bauer was in a room with Hitler, Stalin, and Nina Meyers, and he had a gun with 2 bullets, he'd shoot Nina twice.
Check out the entire hilarious list of Jack Bauer "Facts" HERE.
