Oh, and he won't kiss women on-screen, because he's not married to them. I'm sure Jesus appreciates that.

And The White Meat Monday Asshat Award Goes To...

This "straight" model, who is suing gay magazine Genre and well-known photographer Rick Day. Apparently Mr. Asshat went to Mr. Day to be photographed, supposedly thinking the photos were just for his portfolio. But when the photos were published in Genre, this "model" says he was subjected to advances from strangers who "solicit him for homosexual sex." Girl, puh-leeez - get over yourself. Furthermore, his attorney stated that "It's definitely put him in a class where he's going to have difficulty obtaining contracts for family-related shows". "Family-related shows"?!? Remember, this lawsuit is not about the photographer USING the pictures (because Mr. Asshat most definitely signed a release allowing the photographer to use them however he wants) - it's about the photographer using the pictures in a GAY magazine. Because now the fags all want to have butt sex with Mr. Asshat. Gag.

So I looked through Mr. NeverGonnaGetWork's MySpace page, and these three pics sent my Gaydar into overdrive. I mean really, a "Free Lil Kim" T-shirt?!? ...

I know I might sound mean, but this kind of crap pisses me off. It's 2008, for goodness sake! If you have a problem with The Gays, DO NOT go to a photographer who is known for his homoerotic photoshoots, sign a release form, and then get upset when your pictures show up in a gay magazine. BE HAPPY for the exposure, you ASSHAT!

And if you are actually gay, and taking this to court to "prove" that you are not - then you are a HUGE ASSHAT.

Pop Singer Katy Perry has been denounced by her own parents because her hit single - I Kissed A Girl - "promotes homosexuality".

Mrs Hudson said: 'We hate it. It promotes homosexuality, which the Bible clearly states is a sin, and it is shameful and disgusting. When it comes on I bow my head and pray. She is our daughter and we love her and can't cut her out of our lives. But we strongly disagree with how she is conducting herself and she knows how disappointed we are. Katy is not a homosexual and has just been led astray by Hollywood. She changed when she went to LA and is going through a period of rebellion. She's told me, 'Oh Mum, I'm not going to turn into Amy Winehouse,' but I pray all the time God will help her find salvation."

My Sick Cat and (Almost) Dead Co-Worker

My cat Emmy is sick again. Shortly after finishing this last round of antibiotics, her sinus infection slowly came back. By this weekend it was back in full force. I called the Vet on Monday to plead for more antibiotics without another expensive office visit.

The Vet was out of the office on Monday, but called me back yesterday and prescribed more antibiotics. I left work mid-afternoon and jumped on an uptown train. I got to the Vet’s office, obtained her medication, and went back to my apartment to squirt liquid antibiotics down Emmy’s throat (which she hates). The total cost was $12.90. Yes – less than $15, as compared to hundreds.


After Emmy was taken care of, I returned to work only to find out that the preparations for a large dinner group had not been done, and the manager was nowhere to be found (he was at the bank, I would later find out). When he returned, I let him HAVE IT for failing to staff enough people for my group, and for failing to oversee the setup himself.

One of the things I do well is win an argument. I’m not going to bother fighting with you if I’m not right, and I’m going to make sure you know that YOU ARE WRONG. I’m sure I got this from Mama Bunny. And, like my mother, I am no dummy, so I know what I need to say to get my point across.

In the middle of my attempt to “enlighten” this manager as to his failure, he made a comment to the effect of: “Well, maybe you should just let your cat die!”. His implication was that if I hadn't left the restaurant to take care of Emmy (which took less than 1 hour), I could have made sure the group was taken care of. Which is HIS job, btw.

I was dumbfounded. I couldn’t believe my ears. I immediately left the office, because if I hadn’t, I would have gone to jail. I’m not lying, I was THIS CLOSE to grabbing his skinny little neck with one hand, and punching the fuck out of him with the other. I am probably twice his size (even though he goes to the gym daily) and would have hurt him badly.


After a minute outside the manager’s office, I returned and told this manager how low and disgusting he was – as I packed my shit up. I walked out the door 1 ½ hours early – and told him that my group BETTER be taken care of.

I jumped on the #1 Train (that’s when I saw Carlos Leon) and went home and took care of things around the apartment, and looked after my poor, skinny, sick kitty.

I don’t like to talk a lot about work, but this was a MAJOR incident. I still cannot believe someone would stoop so low, just to take the focus off their failures. I have to say, if his goal was to shut me up, it worked. And he and I have argued enough that he KNEW the only way to keep me from “expressing my viewpoint” was with a low blow.

My co-worker is off for the next two days, and I have no idea what I will say to him when he returns. He left a note on my desk to apologize - because he doesn't have the balls to pick up the phone and call me. What do YOU think I should do?...

Boycott!

If right-wing idiots can boycott my beloved McDonald's, then WE can boycott some right-wing juice. William Bolthouse, who owns 43% of Bolthouse Farms, recently donated $100,000 toward the initiative to constitutionally ban gay marriage in California. According to Bilerico, the Bolthouses have a history of supporting anti-gay causes. Read the story here.

I'm not a big juice buyer, but if YOU are, I ask you to bypass Bolthouse Farms and buy something else.

This Time They've Gone TOO FAR!

The "American Family Association" is one of those organizations with a benevolent name and a hate-filled agenda. In the AFA's case - it's all about hating on the gays. I am used to hearing about such assholes on a regular basis, and have learned to tune out their hate, much as I've learned to tune out the sound of traffic here in Manhattan.

But I cannot stand idly by and let the AFA's latest atrocity go unmentioned. THEY HAVE GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME. They have called for a boycott of my beloved McDonald's. Those dirty bitches.

In my eyes, McDonald's does "the Lord's work" by providing me with comforting Big Macs (extra cheese - no pickle), Chicken McNuggets, and Sausage Biscuits with Cheese. For brief periods of time, McDonald's gave me the McRib, Arctic Orange Shakes, and the Ranchero burger (a quarter-pounder with taco sauce and a big tortilla chip inside - seriously). In my eyes, McDonald's ranks right up there with the Red Cross. When the chips are down, where do I go when I need to feel better? McDonald's. Besides, Arby's doesn't have a Manhattan location anymore.

And McDonald's loves the gays. They were THIS gay boy's employer all throughout my high school and college years (you should have seen this bitch working the drive-thru!). And they recently donated money to the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, as well as placed an openly gay McDonald's executive on the Chamber's board of directors.

This made the right-wing idiot wingnuts go CRAZY! HEAVEN FORBID a multi-national corporation donates money to a legitimate organization, and shows some compassion toward gay people (and rakes in some gay dollars in return). So the AFA has called for a boycott of McDonald's (see story here).

I don't know about you, but this has me so upset...I better get to Mickey D's RIGHT AWAY.

The Opposite of Pride = HATE

Neal Anthony of McMinnville, Tennessee has been a target of anti-gay attacks on his home for the past 13 months. The attacks continued recently (story from Towleroad):

"Vandals sprayed and splattered hate-filled words on his property Friday morning. Anthony said it's because of his sexuality. 'I'm not out there in my yard running naked, or being with my partner doing all these sex acts or anything like that,' said Anthony. Virtually every square foot of the property is within camera range, but this spray paint assault went undetected. The vandals cut the lines to Anthony's cameras, security lights, landscape lights and even severed power to the main house and his phone line. Anthony said this is the ninth assault on his property and he fears the attack might escalate from personal possessions to people. The suspected vandals also spray painted "Dorothy's in Hell' referring to Neal's mother, who passed away in December."

This is some scary shit. He lives out in the middle of nowhere, and someone comes and cuts the power to his property as well as his phone line. He could have been killed and no one would have known. This kind of thing makes ME want to hurt people!...

I realize this is not just a Tennessee thing, or even a southern thing – it’s an IGNORANT ASSHOLE REDNECK COUSIN-FUCKING DIRT-EATING MORON THING. This same thing could have just as easily happened where I grew up (in Central PA) or almost anywhere in rural America. Disgusting.

And the Republicans think we don’t need laws to help prevent gay-bashing and other hate crimes. Furthermore, they don’t even think that teaching TOLERANCE toward gay people is acceptable. So very Christian of them. Again, disgusting.
