I can't upload the picture, but my sister and I made signs to carry around Geneva, Switzerland all day in the absence of local protests. They say "Don't H8 on LOVE" and "Now, let's get us some civil rights." Both slogans were my 15-year-old sister's idea.

A message from your friendly expatriot Californians.

No pics, sorry. We had about 250 down in Louisville in front of the City Hall, about 40 miles from where I live. Mostly gay folks but a few Moms and Dads of some cute gay boys too. My straight nephew and his girlfriend went with me. It was cold and raining and snowing for about an hour. Louisville is pretty laid back, not liberal, not conservative. No one really gets excited about anything. If the weather had been nicer, but still it was okay. Some straigt couple whose son is gay brought coffee for a lot of people.

We had gay marriage on the ballot in Kentucky in 2004 and the anti-gays won big. Once you get outside of Louisville, Frankfort, Lexington, and Henderson, there isn't much active support for gays.

The black baptist churches and the hispanic catholic churches were all out agianst it all. Of course, the irony is most of the dick I suck is either black or latino.

Thats my report.

Here's a link from Colorado Springs. My favorite sign is not shown...it read:

"There is nothing love cannot face;
there is no limit to its faith,
its hope, and endurance."

Sorry to say that I flaked. I was there in spirit though. Too much drama Friday night. So much so that I really didn't leave bed until Sunday afternoon. *sigh*
