Eddie Rabon lives in my neighborhood - in a teeny-tiny 55-square-foot apartment which he pays $800 per month for - even in this economy. Welcome to Manhattan!! Hat tip to Joe.My.God.

Good grief! Gorilla Boy's bedroom at home is 180 square feet!
Woh..I did not think it possible to rent a place smaller than Miss A's, but you could fit almost five of those in hers! and for 800 bucks? That's ridiculous...
Believe it or not, the price - although ridiculous for everywhere else - isn't outrageous by Manhattan Standards. In fact, I didn't think it was possible to find a studio for less than $1200/month anymore.
Apparently Miss Thang found it...
XOXOXOXOXO
Awww, he's so adorable...He seems happy, I'm starting to reconsider everything I think I "need".
I'm kinda impressed by how well he's organized so little space. It might drive me a little crazy, though.
Hell, you can rent a 2 bedroom 1 bath house with a small fenced in yard for 700 a month halfway between Miss A and myself..something we're looking at for us and the dog and cat..
so exactly how much would a 400 sq. foot apt with its own bathroom cost in your area of NYC anyways???? mr. m beat me to the punch and for once i can say something IS smaller than my apartment!
xxalainaxx
I don't know how many square feet my roommate & I have (I'm clueless about that kind of stuff). But I do know we pay 3 times as much as MISS THANG does. But we also have more than 3 times the space.
And people wonder why I don't ever have any money.
XOXOXOXOXOXOXO
Oh my goodness. That is cra-a-zy small and I'm from NY.
It's so expensive to live in NYC! That really is small, but he's arranged it well. I can't live in such a small space but would enjoy living in a city for a while. I think my bathroom is larger than his apartment. My house payment for my 1700 sq ft house and large yard with a storage building and carport is a little over $600, but then I live in Dickson. So there you have it.
ok, my "small-town-ness" is going to roar its ugle head ont his one! DAMN. I can make a house payment for less than that and get 3 bdrms and 2 1/2 baths around here!!!
I think I would go freaking POSTAL in that small of a space...but like he said, having friends nearby helps...who actually have space to live in!
wow.
This fascinates me! I love the creativity that is born out of sever confines. As our High Priestess Tim Gunn would say: "Make it work!"
