Demonstrating The Equipment

Whatever happened to the old-fashioned "Demonstration Model"?? After all, getting people excited about a color slide projector takes a certain kind of ... um ... TALENT. And Sabrina isn't afraid of showing off her talents (both of them) while demonstrating just how EXCITING Bell & Howell photo equipment is.

Maybe Sabrina was the reason why every father in American had a slide projector back in the 1950's ... ??

No.They.Dih-Ent.

A race-baiting, anti-abortion billboard recently went up in the lily-white, tourist-soaked Soho neighborhood of Manhattan (via JMG):
The anti-abortion nonprofit organization behind the billboard said its goal is to shock people and spark discussion. The spokesperson for Life Always, Marissa Gabrysch, said the group is trying to highlight its belief that Planned Parenthood targets minority neighborhoods with the 300,000 abortions it performs each year. “There’s a grave disparity and just a huge disproportion that African-Americans represent 13 percent of the U.S. population yet represent 36 percent of abortions in the United States,” said Gabrysch.

Of course these are the same "good Christians" who don't care that 35% of people who are legally executed in this country are African-Americans. These bigots only care about the the life of fetus (and imposing "God's Will" upon women). Once that fetus has been born, he/she shouldn't be given any sort of government services and can be gladly executed by the state.

General Motors Is Lying

Have you seen those General Motors ads featuring the CEO bragging about how the company paid back their bailout loan "five years early and with interest"?...

Well, apparently that's a big lie. General Motors used DIFFERENT bailout money to pay back the initial loan. Even worse, according to Joe.My.God, the Federal government is expecting to lose at least $30 billion on the GM bailout.  Which is CERTAINLY not worth bragging about.

"Look Mommy, Furniture For The Homeless People!"

As part of a promotional stunt, IKEA has furnished some high-traffic Metro stations in Paris for two weeks.  Looks pretty nice, right?

I just can't imagine how disgusting this furniture would become after only hours on a subway platform in New York City ... {{{shudders}}}  But you can bet there would be plenty of well-rested and happy homeless people.

I Used To HATE Statistics...

... until StatCounter came along. Holy Crap - yesterday we had over 3,300 visitors here at DavidDust, and over 6,200 page views! Amazing.

Are you listening Google AdSense?!? I don't know if I mentioned this or not, but I had hoped to earn a badly-needed dollar or two by including advertising on the blog recently. Google AdSense TURNED ME DOWN because of "Adult Content". WTF??

I'll give you some "Adult Content" ... you NO-GOOD, DIRTY, MOTHER-f**#$#@, *#@!*-eating, #*!@*^$-loving, *^&$##*, #*##!!@, DUMB-ASSES!!!

Okay ... I feel better now. Anywhoo - thanks everyone for stopping by. And if any company would like to reach a whole bunch of fierce Dust Bunnies and advertise on my blog, send me an email. I promise to be nice...
