Wanna Hang With Some Dust Bunnies?

The next Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend is less than a week away, and if you are in the NYC area you should consider hanging out with us. This gathering will be a much more intimate affair, as many of the attendees from the first DDBW cannot make it this time. But some hardcore Bunnies will be representing, and you should plan on joining us.

Here is the schedule. Friday night (10/23) - Urge Lounge (AKA "The Urges") - 11 pm...

Urge is a TON of fun - with nice bartenders and a bunch of sexy go-go guys dancing on the bar. There is no cover to get in (bring I.D.) - just the cost of drinks and tips for the dancing beauties.

Urge is located in the East Village at 32 2nd Avenue (between 1st and 2nd Streets).

Saturday night (10/24). Pre-festivities private party (email me for details) - followed by the legendary Escuelita club at midnight.

Escuelita has been in Times Square forever - and the Latin papis and drag queen mamis still flock to this club. There is always SOMETHING going on, and the drag show is always a lot of fun...

Escuelita is located at 301 W. 39th Street (off of 8th Avenue)

If you have any questions, or need more information, please email me: daviddust@gmail.com.

Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend Fast Approaching!

DDBW II is just a couple of weeks away ... and we've just had another confirmation. Marker will be attending!...

Marker is the shirtless stud in the middle - the one hitting on my future ex-husband - Francois S (left). Remind me to have a discussion with Marker regarding this indescretion.

The only plan so far is that we will all be meeting at "The Urges" to fondle go-go's on Friday (Oct. 23). If you live in/near NYC - plan on joining us. The rest of the schedule will be determined in the near future. Possibilities for Saturday night include maybe hitting up Escuelita for the Drag Show and Papis, or maybe finishing the West Village Bar Tour we attempted during DDBW I.

And for those of you who have NOT confirmed yet, don't miss out on your chance to end up looking like THIS...

... with your Dust Bunny Family.

Dust Bunny Roundup

Thanks to those of you who have "checked in" with me lately. I love hearing from you, so keep sending your pics, jokes, Arby's visits, gossip, etc. to me at daviddust@gmail.com. And if you happen to be Franky G (below), please send full-frontal naked pics of yourself ASAP.

I heard from a bunch of you when you received your official DavidDust "Peace, Bitch!" buttons...

Long-time Dust Bunny (and all-around SEXY MAMI), Psychomom, sent me the picture below. She had requested TWO buttons, "one for each nipple". And she delivered...

Psychomom also Live-Twatted Top Chef Masters for me last night, since my cable is down. During the episode, I started following PapiChef Wilo Benet (below) on Twatter - and he followed me back! This meant I had to stop twatting about wanting to gaymarry him... I didn't want to rush our relationship, ya know.

Wilo didn't win, that damn Chef Payless apparently wowed 'em with a taco or somesuch.

Anywhore, Cutie-Patootie Dust Bunny William also sent me a picture with his brand new >PB button (below). Please check out William's blog - Variations on a Theme.

Our friend Rona Green, the fabulous artist from Australia, sent me some literature about her latest art exhibitions, as well as some more BUTTONS!...

And if ya'll play your cards right, I just might give a few of them away. Stay tuned...

I love getting mail, and let me tell you, I was SHOCKED when a got a package from my friend Jennie the other day. Inside was the most thoughtful gift a good Gay could ever recieve... BABS!!!!...

Seriously folks, I got a little verklempt when I opened it! A while back, Jennie had raised money to help fight ALS (a terrible disease that her father suffers from), and I did my (VERY little) part to help. Jennie said that the T-Shirt she had for me got swiped by her darling husband, so she sent me this awesome collection of Streisand-In-Concert DVD's instead. I'd like to thank Mr. Clairol (Jennie's Husband) for his part in my receiving such an awesome gift. And PLEASE check out Jennie's hysterically written blog HERE. She is a peach.

Moving on ... please send some belated birthday wishes to my girl Kailyn. According to her BLOG, she almost had to cut a beeyotch up in the AT&T store on her birthday. I don't know if this papi (below) will cheer her up...

But he's certainly working for me.

Finally, Houston Dust Bunny Timmy posted an Arby's sighting on his BLOG the other day, and he took a picture for me. I, of course, had to doctor up the picture a little ...

Over 200 Followers!

This past week DavidDust reached a major milestone - surpassing 200 Followers. I really appreciate all of you for visiting, and I thank you all for your comments, emails, and friendship. Dust Bunnies are the best!

Here is something we discovered during Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend: all the Bloggers knew EXACTLY how many followers we had on our blogs. Think about it for a second - if you are a Blogger and are reading this, I would bet you also know exactly how many followers YOU have. Don't front, bitches - you KNOW you pay attention!!!

So even though some of us may try to act like our Follower count isn't that big of a deal, it IS a big deal. At least it is to me. And I appreciate each and every one of you.

If you aren't following DavidDust yet, what are you waiting for? Come join our happy family of Dust Bunnies! Just look for the "Followers" section at the top of the right side-bar.

My Lunch Companion...

...the super-sweet and fabulous Wonder Man! WM (and his partner) are in the middle of a whirlwind visit from California, but somehow he found time to have lunch with little 'ole me. In fact, we chatted for about 2 hours!

Wonder Man is just like his blog - intelligent, even-tempered, and fabulous! I'm finding this is true with most Bloggers - our blogs really do reflect our personalities. And trust me - this picture doesn't do him justice (hello handsome!!). We really did have a nice lunch, and it was great to finally meet in face-to-face. Check out Wonder Man's blog HERE.

So ... who's coming to visit me next?...

Congratulations, Miss Ginger!

Fabulous Houston Drag Diva (and Dust Bunny) Miss Ginger Grant held her first annual Roundup this weekend. The fundraiser, a benefit for Legacy Community Health Services - ended up raising $10,000!!

Congratulations on a truly impressive amount of money raised. Legacy Community Health Services provides health services to the GLBT and HIV-positive communities, as well as other residents of Houston - services which are badly needed (and usually underfunded). That $10,000 will do a world of good in Miss Ginger's community.

I am so proud of our fabulous Miss Ginger - I just wish I could have been there to show my support. For more pictures, check out Str8 Up With A Twist HERE. And, as always, check out The Fabulous Blog of Miss Ginger Grant HERE.

Drunken Dust Bunny - GIFTS!

I am back to reality (and back to work) today, but I've decided to try and feature pics from the Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend every day this week. Nothing like clinging to your fabulous past...

Above are some of the gifts I received from various Dust Bunnies. The Chinese red fan and the sandalwood soap were from Maddie, the bunny dish was from Kailyn, and the fabulous red kitchen accessories were from Mark in DE and Spouse. Also from Mark was this fabulous refrigerator magnet, which perfectly sums up my attitude toward exercise...

Thanks for all the goodies!!!

Pictures From Last Night

My camera is still in the gal's hotel room - but Zombie Mom (above) posted some pictures from last night's cocktail party. Go HERE to check them out.

I'm too hungover to tell you who everyone is... but if you're a long-time reader, you'll recognize many of the party-goers. We had a wonderful time.

After the party, Mistress Maddie, Boy Ginger, Howard and myself went to Urge (a stripper bar), and fondled some bar-dancing Papis. Good times.

Fruity (Dust) Bunnies - ALL DIFFERENT FLAVORS!

Yes, the first annual Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend begins on Friday - and I am SO EXCITED. Miss Ginger thought it would be a good idea for me to post pics of all the confirmed attendees, so people can start putting faces to names/blogs. BTW - Marker (below) sent me the Fruity Bunnies pic (above), and I thought it would be just TOO appropriate for this post. Although if you read the fine print at the bottom, it says "No Icky Additives Or Pesky Preservatives" - which would definitely leave a few of these bitches out. Yes, my dear sister Maddie, I'm looking at you :)

Anywhore, without further adieu, here are the Fruity Bunnies confirmed for DDBW...

The handsome, intelligent, and funny Marker

The well-preserved Mistress Maddie - one of my dearest friends in the world

Maddie's adorable husband, the Boy Toy

The lovely and talented Kailyn - coming all the way from California

A Bunny I've had the pleasure of meeting before - Howard

The Fabulous Miss Ginger Grant - who we PRAY makes an appearance...

...and if not, the equally fabulous Boy G will fulfill all of Miss G's obligations.

My darling Zombie Mom - who I have been dying to finally meet in person

One of the reasons why DDBW is happening is because Mark In DE (center) and his handsome Spouse (left) decided to visit NYC this weekend. I did a little shout-out to the BunnyNation to see if anyone else wanted to hang in with us ... and lookie what happened. So, if anything goes wrong, I am TOTALLY blaming Mark. Just kidding, my dear. And yeah, that's me on the right looking extremely well-fed during a visit with them last year.

And finally, the Guest of Honor - the Empress of the Dust Bunnies - TRANNYBETH!! I am picking Beth up bright and early on Friday morning, and I'm not going to stop hugging on her until I take her back to the airport when DDBW is finished.

And remember, if you can get to Manhattan on Saturday night, meet us at Pieces Bar between 9:00 and 10:00 PM for the first annual Drunken Dust Bunny West Village Bar Tour. More information HERE.

>Peace, Bitches!!!

And for those of you who are not mothers, this is for you...

Drunken Dust Bunny Weekend: May 29/30/31

Dust Bunnies Take Manhattan!

I have heard from a few of you who are thinking about joining our little Dust Bunny gang on Saturday, May 30th. It will be a ton of fun - you should all think about coming to NYC that weekend. I may even shovel out my apartment and invite you all over for cocktails...

If you can make it to NYC the weekend AFTER Memorial Day (May 29-31), send me an email (daviddust@gmail.com) and I'll keep you posted about our plans.

In addition to drinking, I think we we should definitely take a subway trip out to Queens and visit my favorite restaurant...

Easter Dust Bunnies

Some of you asked what I was going to do with those Arby's/Bunny pics you sent to me in conjunction with the Rona Green artwork giveaway. Besides using them for blackmail purposes, I am posting some of them in honor of Easter!

I realize some of you don't celebrate Easter (at least one of the Dust Bunnies below is Jewish) - so if you want me to remove your pic, please email me.

Of all the pictures I received, this is one of my favorites. This is my "Auntie Flame", the Grand Duchess of the Dust Bunnies - Joy. Joy is a retired teacher and respected member of her community - I can just imagine what her neighbors must of said when they spotted her posing for this picture.

Here is our Vermont Drag Queen superstar - Amber LeMay - showing off her madd Photoshopping skillz.

No photoshopping here - yes, that is a REAL LIVE BUNNY in an Arby's parking lot. Thanks to good Dust Bunny (and good friend) Kayce for the effort.

The handsome Dust Bunny Marker - who I've had the pleasure of meeting in person. Play on, Playboy!

The Mistress Borghese (AKA Maddie) sent me these Annie's "Dust" Bunny Crackers last week. The skinny bitch forgets I'm trying to diet - but Maddie said the crackers were "organic", so I'd be OK. :)

The winner of the Rona Green artwork - Mark In DE. Mark, Maddie and I will be partying next month - anyone care to join us?

ShirlSD won Dust Bunny of the Week honors for her efforts.

And finally, I figured if I'm going to ask you to do silly things in the name of the BunnyNation, then I should also ...

Happy Easter!!!
