Franky G Will Bring Us Good Luck

Bitches - I'm bringing out the big guns for Obama today! Franky G is my absolute favorite papi in the world (spotting him on the street was one of the biggest days of my life). In fact, do a Google image search of "Franky G" and see how many DavidDust entries you find. Seriously - it's hysterical.

Wait Till They See The Baby

My liver function tests keep coming back with red exclamation marks, so yesterday my doctor scheduled me for an ultrasound to take a look at what's going on. Won't everyone be surprised when they find Franky G's immaculately-conceived baby growing in my tummy!

MAURY says: "Franky G, you ARE the father!"

Until my ultrasound (on Wednesday), I'm forbidden from drinking - since Bacardi Limon and Livers get along like Sarah Palin and Facts. In fact, I haven't had even a sip of hooch since brunch on May 8th. Not that I'm counting or anything...

In other news, my blood pressure - after being normal for years (despite my 'morbid obesity' - yes, that's what it says on my chart), has increased the past 3 doctor visits. So now I'm taking blood pressure medication - yet another pill to add to the daily regimen.

Also, my doctor is referring me to a Shrink, so we can figure out which variety of Crazy Pills are the best for me. But Dr. Crazy better not even THINK about dealing with my Franky G delusions - I'd prefer to keep those just the way they are, thankyouverymuch.

And, finally, I'm still wrangling with teeth issues, which - as Jeebus is my witness - will also be handled next week.

Bottom line: My liver drama and high blood pressure are probably a result of me weighing 300 pounds (see "Morbid Obesity", above). So, yeah, I should probably do something about that before I drop dead.

Unless, of course, I AM pregnant - then we'll blame Franky G and his baby for this enormous belly.

When I'm feeling a little stressed or down, all I have to do is take a look at Franky G and the world seems like a much better place...

I thought I owned every picture of him known to mankind (do a Google Image search - you'll see) - until Dust Bunny AKA43 sent me the three hot pictures above. Daddy Of The Day - Franky G

Today’s Daddy of the Day is “Franky G”, who was born Francisco Gonzalez 42 years ago in Brooklyn, NY.

His film career began in 2002, when he starred in the movie Manito – which won a special jury award at the Sundance Film Festival. The movie revolves around a family living in Washington Heights, and is uplifting and heartbreaking all at the same time. I LOVE Manito, and just remembered to add it to my list of favorite movies.

He has also had roles in The Italian Job, Saw II and Saw III. But I totally fell for him during the very short-lived series on Fox called Jonny Zero. He starred as Jonny, an ex-con trying to get his life together and do the right thing. It was totally the story of every boyfriend I’ve ever had…… (sigh).

Franky G stands 6 feet tall, is built like a Brick Shithouse, and once competed in the Mr. Metropolis and Mr. Queens bodybulding competitions. I spotted him about a year ago walking on my block of 9th Avenue and I almost had a heart attack. I wanted to say something to him, but couldn’t – first of all, he was with a fugly woman, and second, I am a total chickenshit when it comes to approaching people (celebrities or otherwise).

Dear Internet: I Am Lost Without You

My name is David, and I’m a crack whore for the internet.

Yesterday, when I lost internet service at both work AND home, I got nervous. I spend 40+ hours/week working in a windowless office with no radio or TV, and the internet serves as my link to the outside world. I was afraid that while the internet was down, some emergency would happen and I wouldn’t even know about it. What if (Godbunny forbid) there was another terrorist attack in NYC?!? What if I had to evacuate?!? What if naked pictures of Franky G surfaced?!?!! Needless to say, I was quite relieved when they repaired my connection here at work. But unfortunately there are no naked Franky G pics out there ... yet.

I still have no internet in my apartment – so I actually watched TV last night without the computer next to me. It was bizarre. I am so used to walking into my apartment, setting up my handy-dandy tray table next to my couch, turning on my laptop, and blogging while I watch TV. I’m a multi-tasker!!

I had forgotten what it was like to actually sit down and watch a television show without being distracted. It was a good thing, because the season finale of Lost aired last night, and that’s a show that takes a lot of concentration. And WOW, what a show.

Anywhore, Time-Warner Cable is scheduled to look at my home internet connection on Friday morning, so until then I won’t be around as much as usual.
