Gone But Not Forgotten

I didn't watch the Oscars last night, but apparently they forgot to include Corey Haim (who died last March) during the "These Are The People We Lost" montage. But those intrepid Twitterers (try saying that 3 times fast) certainly didn't forget the late Lost Boys actor.

I could be wrong (I often am) but wasn't he included in last year's montage?

Behrmark -

Good question - so I did a little investigation. Last year's Oscars were held on March 7. Corey Haim died on March 10. So he couldn't have been included.

Wonder what the mechanics of all that is? And do you have to be a member of the Guild, in good standing, to be included?
Was probably just an oversight. Not my favorite part of the Oscars. Just too sad.
