Is It Real? Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland

When I first saw this picture, I thought it was photoshopped.  But then I looked up "Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland" on Wikipedia, and it said...
Vestmannaeyjar (English: The Westman Islands) is a small archipelago off the south coast of Iceland. The largest island, Heimaey, has a population of 4,036. The other islands are uninhabited, though two have single hunting cabins.

I guess that COULD be a hunting cabin.  A fabulous hunting cabin, but a hunting cabin nonetheless.

UPDATE:  Intrepid Dust Bunny Adam did some investigating on Google Maps, and thinks he found our fabulous little cabin via satellite imagery...

Thanks Adam!!

I was in Iceland last week and have to report that the scenery is simply stunning. I didn't make it to the Westmann islands, choosing to fly north to the area around Akureyri instead for my 'day out of Reykjavik'. The Lake Myvatn area boasts boiling mudpools in the midst of snowfields, volcanic landscapes, stunning geothermal bathing pools, the constantly widening fissures that are dragging north America and Europe apart at 1cm a year and a landscape that looks like the moon!

Everywhere you look the geological features take your breath away, and don't get me started on the Northern Lights.

If you have a chance to go, take it. With the Icelandic economy in the dumpster you get more for your money and they could certainly use the economic boost tourism brings.

(PS - I am not icelandic and I don't work for their tourist industry!)
