What Are You Doing Tonight?

I never go out for New Year's Eve anymore - it's way too expensive, crowded, and it's IMPOSSIBLE to find a cab. Years ago I would always go to a huge club and get blotto, but tonight I'll probably just catch up on some blog reading.

What will YOU be doing tonight?

I'm not going out either. I don't drink and it too freakin' cold to be running around at midnight. I'm going to get take out for dinner, then watch some movies while eating some light popcorn and WW candy.

Happy New Year everyone!

I'm with you David.
New Year's Eve is for amateurs, amateurs under 30.
Now I like nothing more than a quiet night at home with Carlos.
Then we have a celebration on New Years Day, while everyone's nursing as hangover.
Makes better sense to me.

Happy New Year!!

Woo hooooooo!

I'm going to watch Kathy Griffin and Anderson "Come to Daddy" Cooper for awhile and then go to a party for an hour.

As an fyi...be sure you're standing up at midnight. The Greeks say that is bad luck if you're not standing up when the New Year rolls in.

The Engineer's birthday is today so we make his favorite dinner, decorate the table and make a fuss over him.
The neighborhood tribe goes hither and yon, then usually settles at one house to watch movies.

Hey DD!! In Burlington, Vermont they have an event called "First Night." In Beaver Pond we have "Last Night." If we wake up, we celebrate.

It was great to "meet" you this year. Hope '09 is better than fine.

Hugs,
Amber
PS: To all the Bunnies watching videos tonight - "Slingbacks & Syrup" would be a great one for such an occasion!

The boyfriend and I are staying in as well. Since today is our last days of junk food and sugar, we're having pizza and drinking wine. At midnight we will jump in the shower and wash off 2008.

The Hubster and I are going to the big gay resort here in New Hope PA, the Nevermore, and have rented a room, so we're getting our party on with a bunch of friends who are crashing with us! I see crazy things happening! Happy New Year!

I'm going to a party that I predict will be rather lame and boring. I'd rather be at home catching up on blog reading!

Happy New Year, David Darling!

I am about to curl up on the sofa with Timon and watch a movie.

I hope all of Bunny Nation has a wonderful evening, a painless morning, and a fantastic 2009.
