In the early 90's, the Supermodels ruled over the fashion world. This handful of young women - Naomi Campbell, Christie Turlington, Cindy Crawford, and Claudia Schiffer - changed fashion. No longer were models nameless mannequins - they became superstars in their own right.

But perhaps the brightest star of them all at the time was Linda Evangelista - who turns 46 today. Evangelista, who jokingly told Vogue that she and her fellow Supermodels "don't wake up for less than $10,000 a day", is still waking up and working today - most recently as the face of Talbots.
But my gay ass will always remember Ms. Evangelista as the star of George Michael's Too Funky video - which also featured a young Tyra Banks:

I don't use the word often because I think it's waaaay overused, but Linda was FIERCE.
That video was ONE OF MY FAVORITES ever! And you can't forget about Julie Newmar being in there too! Although she looks like a tranny.
