For you new DustBunnies, Maddie is a BLOGGER and one of my dearest friends - who happens to refer to "her" husband as "The Boy Toy". She better hold onto the Boy Toy she has now, because she's not going to be able to run to McDonald's and pick up another one anytime soon - judging by this sign.
Speaking of Maddie, we are scheduled to meet up next weekend for a trip to the Bronx Zoo, followed by a night on the town (AKA bellying up to the bar at "The Urges"). And I cannot wait.
Maddie and I have been trying to go to the Zoo for YEARS, but every time she comes up we end up getting too drunk to make it out of the apartment before 2pm the next afternoon. Thus missing out on the Lions and Tigers and Bears. Oh my.
This time we have a plan. Maddie will drive to NYC on Saturday MORNING (we won't be hanging out on Friday night), and we'll go straight to the Bronz Zoo. THEN we'll go out and get our drink on.
What could POSSIBLY go wrong with such a foolproof plan???

Shall I start the list?
1. Maddie could decided to celebrate her trip the night before and be too hungover to drive....
2. David may decided to do a little one-man reconnaissance the night before to warn the strippers about Maddie, and end up being to hungover to take the subway....
3... do I REALLY need to keep going???
I so wish I could be there to chaperon this little shindig but we have Krewe event that night!!
What could go wrong? Honey, this is like Lucy and Ethel, anything could happen!!!! After all the two of us with all those south americian mens........... and some drink.......ah yah, something will happen.
oh -and for the Boy-Toy sign and where I got him, he was a buy one get one free at the local Kids, Toys and Applesauce daycare! So I still have one on reserve!!!!
i say start imbibing at the zoo and make it an efficiently, fun filled day!
