Since I was watching Project Runway last night, I didn't see much of the debate. Any thoughts?

That has to be photoshop,right?
He does have zombie hands though...
I am so not feeling John McCain as a my next leader... I also missed the debate, but only because the Commander was practicing to take over as Obama's successor when she turns 10....
Zombie -
Actually, it's a real picture. It was John McCain's reaction when he realized he was walking in the wrong direction after the debate was over.
FYI - You already know the Commander has my vote - for ANYTHING.
xoxoxoxoxo
I didn't watch. I was cleaning my room and had Serenity in the DVD. Love me some Nathan Fillion.
What an unfortunate picture!
Daughter and I were bad citizens and watched Project Runway. But I have caught up with all the commentary and replays. The 'air quotes' comment about a woman's health was a shocking political misstep and gives credence to the shoot from the hip hothead criticism.
I did watch and taped PR. You can see my thoughts on both on my blog. Obama won. McCain lost. McCain TRIED to bring it but nobody wanted it. The air quotes were awful. I thought Joe the Plumber was a plant and the Ayres stuff did not fly.
I watched it and Project Runway (later). Obama was calm, cool, and collected! McCain couldn't get to him and looked increasingly irritated about it.
One thing I thought about when Mac the Grouch said he was proud and confident about Sarah Palin was that if they think she'll do such a good job, why don't they let her speak except to the core group of voters?
McCain has aged into a disgusting physical specimen.
I know I'm being 1000% ageist, but I don't care. This man is vile. In seeking to fulfill his deluded ambition to be President of the United States as the candidate of the repulsive, racist, homophobic, theocratic, oligarchic Republican party circa 2008, he has no qualms about amending the Constitution to make me a second-class citizen and negatively impact my life to a significant degree through his general governance. When he dies in office, he would leave the Presidency to a woman whose lack of preparedness for the position defies description.
That said, here goes:
As kos (speaking of hot veteran blogger kings who are so NOT disgusting physical specimens) says, it's pretty bad when your hair is whiter than your teeth. Add to that his revolting translucent skin, reptilian tongue, and bloated, ghastly Godzilla-like hands, and you've got one helluva disgusting physical specimen . . . that strangely, matches the disgusting person living within that pre-dead body.
He was such a stud in his younger days? What happened? I share some of his northern European genes, so maybe the same fate awaits me . . . gawd I hope not.
ADDENDUM: By the way, you know Barack is fine in every respect, physically speaking.
Even if Barack was fake-smiling while Grandpa Simpson was rambling on, look how much better he is at it than McCain. I mean, McCain even creeped out some of his fellow wingnuts with that fake-ass "smile" and all that blinking and lizard-like lip-licking. WTF? I shudder to even think about it.
i watched b/c i knew i could watch PR on yt the next day (well, i could have watched the debates online, too, but live-tweets are so much fun LOL)...
to sum up: mccain was an uber-asshole; my thought was that he had been working too closely w/ palin or her handlers. he rolled his eyes a lot, sighed, made inappropriate (and mean-spirited) jokes that only he laughed at (once so hard that he snorted which was hilarious). all-in-all, he had some good points to may ideologically, but they were drowned out by his bitchy attitude (mccain is the "stankley" of this pres election).
btw - Did you catch the Al Smith dinner? I bet CSPAN will rerun it. Helps to laugh this time of a year and both candidates were funny poking fun at themselves and each other.
